Pretty predictable final outcome today. Congrats to Ipswich, they're the most deserving of all the teams to have won automatic promotion. To get back to back promotions out of the most competitive league on much less budget than Leeds, Leicester and Southampton is an incredible achievement.

So how are we feeling ahead of the play-offs?

Playing well I still think we're capable of going up but in the last few games of the normal season the team looked like it had gone mentally and I think it will now take some inspirational management from Farke to get them firing for the play-offs; hopefully he can do it but to be honest I'm not holding my breath given our recent performances.

I obviously hope I'm wrong but I think Southampton will eventually take the third promotion place and I'm not sure we'll even get past Norwich to make it to the final. If we perform at Carrow Road tomorrow the way we did at QPR a couple of weeks ago the semi-final could be as good as over before a ball's even kicked in the return leg at Elland Road...

Yeh I pretty much feel the same. Low expectations. Which I suppose is a mixture of recent form and our playoff record.

Hope they can get themselves up for it as we can look passive at times.

Nice to watch these games not really caring about the results, POs are horrible if you're in them!

Seem to have started well against Norwich.

Well we're still in it! After the first 20 minutes or so I felt we controlled the game albeit without creating much in the way of clear chances - all to play for at ER on Thursday!

0-0 not the greatest game (it was an utter borefest).
Each team scared of making mistakes.

You will be the happier.
I hate the playoffs.

Got to fancy Leeds to go to the final now.

Norwich....no idea what they were doing...surely they had to go for a win as beating Leeds at Elland road isn't an easy job.

Much prefer Leeds over Norwich.

Wasnt able to watch as I was out in the sticks all day, had a moment of worry as I finally returned to some phone signal yesterday evening.

Surely gotta fancy Leeds in the second leg one would hope. Fingers crossed.

You’re making this look easy so far - helped by criminal defending and goalkeeping though …

I think that might be the first goal we've scored direct from a free kick all season. Something we've been dire at. A good time to rectify that

Much more like it tonight albeit Norwich were pretty disappointing. Hopefully we can perform to our potential a week on Sunday, think we'll have a good chance if we do!

Where has that side been? Incredible tonight. Good to see under the pressure. Good for confidence too.

Great game, FIl came round (Norwich fan) felt sorry for him having to watch that (with 3 Ipswich supporters on the sofa with him lol)

Rutter...oh my...what a performance, unplayable.

If that Leeds turns up in the final, got to fancy them to win.

Dominant from start to finish. Didn't let them have a second on the ball before they were being hassled. Loads of chances, some sublime play especially from Rutter and Gray and the atmosphere was something else...

Unfortunately we all know what happens now banghead

He's a confidence player, but unplayable is exactly what he is when he's at his best. He should be for £30m though! Just needs to find a bit more consistency and improve his decision making to become a top level player, he has all the attributes.

It's easy to get carried away after a night like last night, but we have a massive opportunity if we achieve promotion. Last time we went up with a team just reaching the end of their peak years and the terrible recruitment in our third Premier League season cost us. If we can go up next Sunday and keep this young team together, we've got a much stronger foundation to build on.
