I am working tomorrow too. Might get the 2nd half on the radio, if I can find it somewhere.

I do feel positive. Huddersfield are not where they are for nothing and with little more than pride to play for, I can't sew them wanting to risk an injury with their summer hols coming up scratchchin

Well, everywhere you look there seems to be an air of inevitability about the result tomorrow which I don't share. The biggest game in over 20 years, huge pressure on the team where failure will lead to the play offs and the lottery that can become. If we miss out on promotion we're highly likely to lose the manager who has led us to this point. Lots at stake and therefore not inevitable in my humble opinion.

Here's hoping!
You fail to take into account just how st Huddersfield are, and I say that as a fan. You must expect at least a draw, I’m expecting a hammering.
It also fails to take into account that the last team Huddersfield would want to help is Leeds; bad enough they're getting relegated but to help us get promoted in the same season would be rubbing a large quantity of salt into an open wound!

There's also the small matter of us needing to beat Southampton which based on recent performances doesn't look especially likely either - even in the highly unlikely event Ipswich lose tomorrow I've no confidence we'd be able to take advantage of any slip-up. So I think you're as good as up and well deserved too given the points tally you've got!

It will be the dreaded play-offs for us so I'm hoping WBA will get at least a point against Preston tomorrow - if they lose Hull will probably finish sixth and with the form they're in I think they'd be tougher opponents in the play-off semi-final. Mind you, with the way we've been playing any team in the championship would (understandably) fancy their chances against us at the moment....

My mate’s off down to Ipswich today, not that he has a ticket though. I think him and some of the guys he meets there to go to the occasional game - ie other non-season ticket holders, will watch it in a bar/pub etc and then get to the ground somehow … I hope they do it - lots of pressure as mentioned but the whole of the town will be behind them and the atmosphere will be fantastic. They’ll come out of the traps at 100mph and steamroller Huddersfield in my view. Three goals up and the party can begin!

Let’s hope next season isn’t a nightmare though …

Yep. Another Canary here - you played some lovely stuff this season and you're well worth the trip to the top. The PL is another thing altogether, as Norwich always find to their cost. Just enjoy it, play some attacking footie and hope the top teams keep getting points deductions.

I was in Halesworth while the game was on.

There was a lot of chatter about the match in the shops and cafes. Several A frames were on display too festooned with balloons and messages of support.

Congratulations!

As a Norwich supporter living in Suffolk who has a lot of friends who support Ipswich well done on your promotion. I went to London yesterday and my train from Bury St Edmunds to Ipswich was rammed with ITFC fans. There were still plenty on the train when I came back at 6pm. Some looking a bit worse for wear!!

Now the euphoria of the weekend is settling down, any thoughts on how we prepare for next season?
My guess is we'll invest but in evolution rather than revolution and shore up the manager's remuneration!

Wow.

What a day.

My boy and I got into Ipswich at about 9:30 for breakfast, the place was already full with supporters and they just kept coming and coming.

Met two people I knew in the curve bar who didn't have tickets, one had come down from the midlands, the other from Lowestoft....madness!

Glorious day in the sun and the coach welcome, pitch celebrations...the whole thing was just the best day ever.

Wonderful way to cap off my last game with my son who's off to Uni.
