30 tickets out of 20k or something, spent what almost £250 on tickets, quite a lot. Insanely lucky that, and a coincidence ey i wonder how many of the comp companies win off each other

Not sure how many tickets there were, 200k I presume, but they were 85p each.

Looks good, I had Escorts back in the 90’s when I could only dream of owning a Cosworth but can’t help thinking they’d be a bit of a disappointment to drive nowadays.

Yeah ive just checked it out, 300k entries (230k sold), at 85p, with 30 tickets he had a 1 in almost 8000 chance of the win, what a lucky guy!

Yes not only insanely lucky but also an insane coincidence, there have been other times when sites have won cars off each other too, been posted previously, again all insanely lucky aren’t they ? Or ?

There have been other times, but I’m not buying into any conspiracy theories. In those pics, the 7DP guy handing over the keys is Kile Copsey. He won an X5 on Lavish Life, about 3 months ago.

I will say this: these companies, if they know what they’re doing, will be monitoring rival companies comps. Prizes/ticket sales/odds etc. Off the back of that data, they’ll be aware of undersold comps. Whether they allow access to that data to employees, I don’t know, but if they do, it gives them an advantage on throwing their ticket money at the best odds. That’s the only legit way, anyone has, of bettering their chances.

£199 per ticket, maximum of 30 tickets per entrant.

Or use 30 free postal entries to get nearly £6000 worth of tickets for ~£30.

Their terms state they won’t acknowledge a free postal entry has been received, is that their get out of jail free card to ignore them all?
I entered that with a postal entry and just won £1000 on instant win prize, not quite the Porsche but hey it's something smile big one will come someday

I've tried the postal enrty with Dream Car Giveaways for past 3 weeks, but so far no success.

Week 1. Sent 2nd class in an envelope on Monday for the sunday draw. They say it never arrived.
Week 2. Sent 2nd class on a postcard on Monday for the sunday draw. They say it arrived on Wednesday the following week, after the draw had taken place.
Week 3, Sent 2nd class on a postcard on Monday for the sunday draw. This could still arrive and be processed by Sunday.

I will try one more time using a 1st class stamp but seems a waste of time so far.

For reference I have bought plenty of tickets in the past but thought I would give this a go.

Don't bother, they never process them. I know 2nd class is a little slower but them claiming it took 9 days to arrive is a joke!

That’s very disappointing if they can’t be bothered to honour a simple promise that they have to do by law then where else might they be cutting corners

To balance, DCG have been the most honest for me from day 1 - they are the only company I spend money with as a result.
