1983 Laverda RGS1000 - mine for the past 35 years.

It's been taxed, MoT'd and ridden every year. Now showing 156000km, so just short of 100000 miles and, aside from normal maintenance, the motor has never been apart - still on original bores, rings, valve guides etc.
It still puts a big smile on my chops! biggrin

See here en route to it's 'home' in Breganze, Northern Italy.

I think I'll keep it a bit longer....cool

but the Honda just keeps on going, I’ve commuted in to the office on it today. 43k miles and no real issues.

wow some commute, how long does that take you ?
LOL, the perils of posting on an iPhone with small screen!

Commute is a round trip of 50 miles daily, and the Viffer has racked up 43k miles doing that and a few European tours.

This is the bike I’ve kept the longest. I’ve had it 6 years now and plan to keep it forever as it’s something I know I’ll regret selling as I’d never find one in such good condition.
Same for me, same colour as well, had it 5.5 years from new and PXd for a Ducati 900ss which was shoite.
Other bike was Tiger 800, 5 years on that one.

24 years and counting........

one big rebuild about 15 years ago when the engine died and I bought a later one that had been down the road and swopped the engine, loom black box's over.......other then that good as gold has taken me round Europe in the past but it rarely gets used now only doing a couple of hundred miles a year

if's truly immaculate and still only worth half a mars bar so no point in getting rid.......although i fondly look at Ducati scramblers lately nono

12 years, so half its life. 7000 miles in my ownership, total 10k.

Longest before that was a KTM 950 Adventure for a similar period before it went BER at 45k miles. Now 4 years into a Triumph Tiger 1200, but hardly managed more than 3000 miles on it. Need to ride more frown

I owned my 1991 Honda ST1100 Pan European for just over 26 years until i sold it in bits last year,
it was actually only used on the road for the first 10 years though.
