The red painted engine bay looks vastly better than the pre 97 cars satin black engine bay. This ones engine bay must have been painted body colour when the car was re painted.
The OE White dash dials would look way better and likewise a wooden dash.
T 5 gear box & Serpentine engine are both very desirable, shame no PAS but it can be fitted.
But someone will be getting a really nice example with ££ fortunes spent with this Griff.

Are there any receipts for the chassis restoration ? , what exactly was done when the body came off "and it was given a once over" ?
Can you get into the engine bay and underneath and get some detailed photo's of the chassis rails in teh engine bay and the underside and suspension corners ?

I am just replying on sellers behalf
From the best of my knowledge when the body was last taken off for repairs the chassis was inspected and no issues where found and the chassis was repainted. The seller is currently away so cannot add any additional images.

This is Dave from PistonHeads auctions, just replying on the sellers behalf.
To the sellers knowledge there are no mechanical issues whatsoever with the car, in his words he would happily jump in the car to drive anywhere with full confidence. The car is totally dry underneath with no fluid leaks of any type.
The reason for selling the car is purely down to not using the car as much as it should be used, and thoughts of reinvesting in other retirement plans.
