Has anyone got a link for a speedo cable for 87 350

If yours has snapped or is ratty you may be better off sending it to Speedy cables who will copy it (or make it longer/shorter etc.) - TVR used different instruments so one end needs to match the speedo and the other the connection on the gearbox. Some SD1s used a cable speedo but I seem to recall the clock end thread is different.

I used Speedy when I fitted cruise control to the 390 as it needed a split cable for the speed pulse generator. Sent them the bits I had and they turned it round inside a week.

Hello. When I send my cable off can I still use the car.or will I loose oil.thanks colin

Colin, as far as I recall the cable screws into a drive gear unit on the side of the 'box, it's self-contained so there shouldn't be a problem with oil getting out of it. You could always have a run around the block then take a look underneath just to be certain. At worst it'll be splash-lubricated, not force-fed so you won't have an arterial spray biggrin
