Genuine? Was the wind direction and speed the same, makes a massive difference.
I run gutter blanks up the screen of my hillclimber, cant say i noticed any increase through the speed trap over the years, even removing wing mirrors and wipers and taping up the front hood gaps etc.
But thinking of running the ruf fillets on the gt2 for terminal speeds.
A nice following wind can give you 5mph at Brunters, there was no wind on the day in question and there were many other previous days with gutters intact with various wind states and it never hit the limiter by the beams. Maybe the it's not just the front pillars but the whole revised roof shape which alters the aero drastically, I also had a plastic flush fit DP Motorsport window fitted and rear wiper delete which must have helped.

It looks very slipperysmile,i would have thought the gutter would help channel the air over the rear spoiler a little, the flush rear window helps for sure.
I might try the ruf fillet,we are at clm later where top speed is everything, putting a smaller rear wing on also ,flush windows are on the car,i dont think porsche did the windows for no reason.Thanks.

This looks very promising! Great colour!

Two questions: Will you put RUF logos on it? And will you retain the torsion bar or switch to coils?
I ask because you didn't delete the holes for the torsion bar...

K27 turbo question - Retaining a KKK turbo because they are oil cooled. Yes there are many modern alternatives, common for all of them is that they are meant for watercooling. Yes they work in a aircooled engine but longevity and reliability is nowhere the same.
and a K27-7200 with some mods and a great engine will produce more than enough power.

No RUF logos, its not a RUF. just a tribute.
Suspension-wise - probably KW G-model suspension on torsion bars...

What a great project.

Pardon my ignorance, assume CTR extensions are not Yellowbird which was narrow body?

Stripping out the interior ?
