Yep. They have been over milking the large central speedo look for so long that it has now moved on from cartoon ( for the young ones, you know) to absurdity.
confused The last decade of MINIs prior to this one didn't have a central speedo, including F56, F56 LCI, F56 LCI2, plus the myriad of other variants.

But they do have a central circle info screen Inc. Radio etc... I like it, and don't mind the interior on the new one pictured

Is there any word on when the higher powered JCW version will land?

Motoringfile have the F66 JCW going into production November 24 that has not been confirmed, others are saying Summer 24.

Either way MINI will probably show the car pretty soon I would think.
JCW has got to be better in the metal than the F66 Cooper S pictures.

I could not believe the photos of the prototypes I saw a couple of years ago. Awful.
Just flat, ordinary, cheap (which they’re not I know) and boring
I went to see them at a dealer’s today. It looks even worse. Like kids, from China, had designed it.
They’ve made a terrible mistake.
Citroèn or Hyundai here we come.

Having had a good poke round at the dealers, I can confirm the following: the ICE cars still feel solid and well built as they're a reworked F56. The EV and Countryman feel very cheap and flimsy. An inferior product.
