2446C GMT, my favourite ever Heuer ref. I'm looking for the GF bracelet but it's a needle in a haystack.

I've always liked the Gulf ones, for me on the blue strap. Unfortunately a little big for these skinny wrists!

Popped into TAG at the weekend and tried this on, afraid to say I didn't buy it, despite the dealers best efforts! I love the colours, but got to say in the flesh, the new 'panda' is it called... glassbox with the red detailing (from W&W) is simply stunning.

Really liking the gulf. If that was available when I got this, I would have gone with the gulf. Too similar to have both though.

The new Panda is lovely. Not sure I could bring myself to spend £6,100 (before any discount) though.

I tried this on yesterday, very tempted and still not sure I have “walked away”. My Monaco of some 24years in the background.

Today I am warning my Carrara of some 15 or more years.

There is a gulf f1 on a suede strap and I’ve purchased the wife and kids various Carraras, f1’s, Aptuva (spelling)

My Monza 40th Anniversary.

It’s very light being made from grade 5 Titanium.

I like the vintage look to it as well.

I bought this in the early 90’s. I can’t remember the cost but around £200 rings a bell. I was around 17/18 when I bought it & my Dad went crackers about the fact I’d blown over a weeks wages on a watch ! It’s not worked for 20 years plus & is completely battered & scratched. The bezel has no click & spins freely. It originally came on a bracelet, no idea where that is or why I swapped it for a rubber strap. It’s tiny, probably 34mm ? Can’t believe these were all the rage back then.

That’s up there with the most well used watches I have ever seen! You definitely got your money’s worth if nothing else thumbup.

We almost need a new thread “let’s see your battered watches” now.

A 4th one joins the collection after I got the one on the left today....
WN111C: 2000 Exclusive
Looking for a bit of advice from those in the know regarding the first watch on the left in my picture. With the others, I've just stuck a new battery in and away they go again. The WN111C won't work with a 371 battery in it although it fits ok. I've ordered some 395's but don't hold much hope. Any ideas what else it could be?
A new 395 battery made no difference and it's still not working. Not sure what to do next.
Might be the pull out pin (don't know the tech term sorry) not re-engaging as this has happened to mine post battery change. Sometimes pulling it out, winding amd pushing it back in works but sometimes you'll need to take the back off and reset everything.
Ok thanks for that advice. I'd chucked in the back of the drawer and given up on it but will give it a try and see what happens.
Did it work?

No, unfortunately not.
Relegated to the back of the drawer again for the time being while I decide what to do with it,

I had this one (Albeit on a rubber strap with black ceramic bezel).. I loved it for a while but really just found it too big and unwieldy.

1st 'decent' watch I treated myself to after getting the Business off the ground a number of years ago. Don't wear it much which makes me a bit sad...
