Netflix have announced they are making Happy Gilmore 2. Adam Sandler will be in it but nothing else known at the moment.

It will probably be terrible but I'll have to watch this one.
Yep, Christopher McDonald has been teasing they're doing a sequel for a while now so seems like he'll be back as well. One of my favourite Sandler films.

Got to the end of episode 6 of Bodkin last night, should finish the whole series tonight. Quite enjoying it, although it is a bit predictable, the nun character is good and the Seamus character is very likeable despite his past.

Interesting to see another Father Ted person in it too, Mrs Doyle playing a menacing character!
Me too. its crap. i don't know how its considered as funny. and im irish. wife is swiss and she thinks its very funny though..

go figure

Overall I thought Bodkin was reasonably good, if a little predictable. If a follow-up show was written/produced on what the Seamus character did next then I think I'd watch it.

The Dove character was quite annoying though, she looked like she was trying to be Trinity from The Matrix.

shes a pain in the hole. the odd sarky comment here and there would be fine, but shes a complete geebag.

Thinking of cancelling Prime and getting Netflix instead. Only got Prime because they where showing a few Premier League games at the beginning of the year and planned on taking it out again after the free trial period. (I refuse to pay for sky for the football and then pay extra for the games I really want to see! bds!) Decided to keep Prime for a bit, obviously! Watched a few things since, Fallout I quite enjoyed, but lately I've started thinking the picture quality, along with the quality of the offerings, is not what it was! Picture quality on all the other streaming services, iPlayer, More4, etc. is crystal clear btw!Add in the Adverts wink and it's not as attractive anymore! Personally, I don't think paying more for advert free viewing of mainly average movies is not really worth it. The free delivery is not quite as important now as I've got most of the stuff I needed for my flat!

Is Netflix any better. I think they have adverts as well, unless you pay a bit more of course! Is it worth getting it in? For a while at least!

Sorry for the long post about Prime on the Netflix thread, although I think I might have convinced myself anyway! hehe

Prime can be a dick for pq the day uhd and Atmos but that's only if you pay to rent or buy it, if you get it free they often nerf the quality of video and audio

Some Netflix 4K content is better IMO.

Only recently paid for 4K subscription so just getting used to it so cannot give much detail, but the Crown looks really good on Netflix in 4K.

Race for Glory - Audi v Lancia

There's no getting around it - this is a poorly made, lethargic feeling film. It's not dreadful and is redeemed by the sight and sound of Quattros and Lancia 037s racing around - although even the race sequences feel slower than they should.

Worth a watch for the cars, but that's about it.

"Inspired by true events" with plenty of artistic licence.

Agreed, cars are stunning but a budget of £12 really shows…

They'll miss a trick if they don't call it "Happier Gilmore"

Or, better yet, "Happier Gilmore?" - title and plot summary in one. Avoids the need to watch it.
