That fundraising email Comer sent out has come back to bite him.
The Oversight Committee, along with the Judiciary Committee, have recommended a contempt of Congress referral for Garland for not turning over the tapes of Bidens interview with Hur, but Biden has done a trump and claimed executive privilege, pointing out Comer admitted in a fundraising email that they only want the tapes to cut campaign material against Biden, not for any legitimate investigative purpose.
In it Comer states 'Biden and his advisors are terrified that I will release the recordings, forcing the media and Democrats to answer for the dismal decline of Biden’s mental state.'

I doubt he will, Justice Clarence Thomas has refused to recuse himself from Jan 6. and 2020 election-related cases despite his wife actively supporting trumps efforts to overturn the election.

The 2 were Thomas (atop the 11th circuit where they filed a lawsuit in Georgia) and Alito (atop the 5th circuit where they filed a lawsuit in Texas). That’s according to under-oath testimony from Pence’s lawyer.

Then there's the claim by Sydney Powell that the purpose of trumps magamob insurrection was to delay the electoral college certification to give Alito time to intervene on this legal challenge. But, Powell says they didn’t anticipate Pelosi reconvening Congress that day.

We know from other testimony the maga militia were tasked with breaking in and capturing/destroying the real electoral college votes so the fake ones could be presented.
