Pagid RSL29's are squeaky enough. I followed a coach down the slipway onto the Euriotunnel last week and was embarrassed, but relieved most would assume it was the bus making the racket. hehe

So the Rebrake refub works on the Gen1 PCCBs too by the lookst of it: 1.950 € plus 19% VAT per disc.
so thats almost 10k EUR all in and landed for all 4 discs?

I am using RSC1s on my Racing Brake CCBs and they are excellent in sprinting/hillclimb context. RSC3s I assume are way better but appear to eat discs and I am not rich enough to let that happen.

I have a pair of new unused sealed box rear GT4 RSL29s up on ebay looking for a home at a cheap price or dmail me (posted on classifieds too).

Agree they can be squeaky but excellent on steels.

Interesting I'm on Pagid RSC1s with PCCB on the GT4 and no squeaking at all - 2 trackdays on em so far.
Rsc1s are a mainly road biased pad - or at least they are not supposed to be a 'track' pad like rs29s.
Interesting, Pagid doesn't list Street use as suggested on the product page, explicitly says Race and Trackdays, same as for RSL29s. RSC1s have a higher coefficient of friction at all temperature levels than the RSL29s and don't drop off over 600c like the 29s.

I considered RSC2/3 but traded a bit of mu for increased disc life.

I used RSC1's over 50 trackways to the point where my ST's were reconditioned and they were fab.

No squeaking, performance that I could not fault, minimal brake dust and a much longer life than when used in conjunction with PCCB's ....

RSL29s

RSC1s

I used RS29's in the AP brakes on my E46 M3 CSL with zero squeal. All road miles, with a mix of very fast road and not so fast road driving. They were peerless.
Very aggressive initial bite, but once learnt, very easy to modulate.
They were originally formulated as an endurance pad compound, as were RS19's, but the the 19's were designed to have less initial bite.

Used them extensively on Evo`s and Scooby`s but not the GT3. Ian is a great guy to deal with.

Yes he is, and the pads are superb. I wondered how they compared in GT cars. I’m currently running XP8 in my full Alcon setup and they’re simply amazing. I test drove a GT4 on both steels and PCCB’s last week and the steels felt like they needed more initial bite, for my preference. Hence the question.

I'm sure they will transition across fine if they do the right size. They can be a a bit squeely if not given a good seeing too !!

Moving off the break topic: Picked up my 7.2 GT3 after putting on Summers and my OPC and my rep mentioned that prices for these have picked up substantially in the US as more people are looking for a less tech-infused driving experience. Not sure whether this has already hit markets here

Compare prices of 991.2 GT3 RS or a 997.2 GT3 RS here. I think the answer is fairly obvious.

Trouble is, it makes a 7.2 RS almost too expensive to really spank on track.

This applies not just to GT models.

First sub £120k 991.1 gt3 rs being sold at a opc with a warranty I’ve seen.

Interior not looking it’s best, but at least they have priced it on a more level playing field.

Intergalactic mileage in GT3RS land, so price no surprise!
Looks like the phone can’t be ringing at this opc, they have dropped the price by a grand already.

Now £118,900

They could have at least dried it before taking the pictures, and let the condensation within the rear light cluster dry...
