I didn't go too deep. I used these guys who are well known and trusted.

https://vermonttuning.com/

I combined the remap with a downpipe, front mount and sports cat and it pulled like an absolute train and had no issues going to the limiter.
That's always good to know, it seems a number of these tuners use DO88 parts too or BSR. There's still quite the following and availability of modified parts for Saabs, which is handy! haha

What kind of power did you get in the end?

Yeah I had a DO88 intercooler.

I never put it on a RR but it would pull on 335i's.

That's good to know. Certainly in gear it's very punchy. It's surprising that the 0-60 time is only 6.5 seconds which is comparable to my Megane with front wheel drive and 225bhp. In gear, I'm confident the Saab would edge it though.

I happened to have an R26 before the saab.

It was tuned to 310/350. Had a louder exhaust and lightened flywheel so had more drama but I do not think it was as quick once moving.

I don't think I ever rinsed the saab off the line biglaugh

Clearly a man of distinguished taste with a Renaultsport and a Saab collection, much like myself haha.

I had a Megane 225 Trophy that was mapped to around 265bhp and that went very well to be fair. Was so long ago I can't quite compare in my head. I'd say this Saab in gear is probably not dissimilar to my CL500, that's 380bhp but of course heavier. Gets to 60 quicker but from a rolling start it'd be close.

As a birthday present my other half bought me a set of these car shades. We have had them in a number of vehicles over the last few years and always impressed. They're car specific so you get a precise fit and can open the windows with them in place. Unlike actual tints you can remove them and put them in another car, does a good job keeping the interior cooler.

Hard to pic up on camera but here's the after.

Thank you. I must admit they have really got under my skin this last 12 months or so. Bought my convertible one for daily use and it's been really good. This one is a little more special, albeit in a very subtle way that only a Saab fan would appreciate.

I do like the idea of a re-map as with 300-310bhp it would surprise a few cars. Not the big stuff but some of the hot hatches around.

I've bought those shades for multiple vehicles and put a friend of mine on to them. He and I are both delighted with them. Highly recommended.

I think once you have a set and see how useful they are they become a must. This is my third vehicle to have them.

The only car I had that I bought some and had to return them was my S Class. Seems they only have ones for the long wheelbase and I had the shorter one.
