So far we have

Psi - 21
Hammo - 18
Glenrobbo - 13
Bobbers - 11.5 - a generous 1/2 point for getting the surname of John Noakes
Dicky - 10
Witters - 7

Hammo, Witters and Glenrobb went missing in the 2000's - Too many e's/Raving?
Dicky can't remember the 80's
Bobbers must have been born after the 70's winkbiggrin

Well, Byker, your quizzing skills more than survived medical intervention and no mistake. Thank you for an entertaining wander down my time line (born 1964)!

Ten? Chuffed with that.

Mrs C helped me with 'I have a dream.' I asked her to remind me where MLK was assassinated. She feigned incomprehension and asked me to read out the question.

Good quiz, Byker. Thanks!

Thanks all, kept me entertained yesterday when I hit the depths of boredom...

I changed a few to make it easier, thought I might catch a few out with Gordon Brown but you mostly all remembered...

Hey Psi, I pulled one on Andy Pandy - who were Andy Pandy's two friends...

Edit: Loopy Lou and Teddy

Teddy and Looby Loo.

I recall being moderately unwell circa 1970 and being off school. My mother offered me a chance to watch Andy Pandy in the afternoon and was quickly convinced that I was actually very off colour because I didn’t want to watch it. The fact was that I was scrimshanking a bit but I loathed him and would rather stare at the ceiling than have the treat of extra TV!

I'm so sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I received a WhatsApp message tonight from peqoud's sister on his phone.
Sadly peqoud passed away earlier today after a short battle with cancer.
He was a gentleman and will be sorely missed.
Goodnight Peter, rest in peace my friend.

That was a necksellent quiz, Byker, but I kept getting sidetracked watching the BSCC racing on Channel 4. paperbag

Shame on me!

I shall go and sit over there in the corner and self-flagellate until I repent my sins.

There were some really noteworthy answers from this evening's entrants. rofl.
I'm very happy with my score of 13 pwon!

Thanks for the entertainment. bow

Oh No! So,so sorry to learn this. He will be sorely missed, and no mistake. Rather apt that he breathed his last on this TTFNQ day.
Rest easy old feller.

That's terrible news, Bobbers, but thankyou for letting us know.

It seems so unfair and rather sudden, but at least he's no longer suffering.

Cancer is a censoreding censored and no mistake! rantingfurious

Let us spare a couple of minutes in respectful remembrance of a worthy Trivialite that we have all held in high esteem...

And raise a glass in his honour:

To Pequod, Mariner of the Deep Blue Ocean of Trivia.

Wherever you are, Old Chap, Keep Buggering On...

Thank you Bobbers for taking on and executing such a difficult duty. You're a stalwart.
RIP PQ, and my condolences to your family.
Fair winds and a favourable tide.

Sorry to have missed the quiz - I had a call from my old friend Judith regarding water coming through her upstairs landing ceiling. Quite rightly she regarded this as an undesirable condition.
Turned out to be no more than a slack compression coupling but there is some water damage to be addressed.

I confess I was concerned about Pequod following the last post I saw from him. How terribly sad. A gentleman to be sure.

Oh no. frown His recent posts had made it clear he knew of his likely path; I hope he was able to walk it with those that he loved and loved him back. RIP.

Thank you for letting us know, Bobbers.
