Where's the PHers to tell us that 830bhp is far too much for a road car because you can't use it all? Or is that argument just for Aston Martin? hehe

Last front engined Ferrari I drove was a 599. I remember thinking how slow it was and that it needed at least another 200 PS…

First Ferrari that I've liked in years.
Love the fact that it's not a mass of sharp angles and vents.
Rear window does look strange. but it may look better in the flesh than in photos.
Agree. It's nice to see a car that doesn't look like it's been fitted with a body kit.
It reminds me of a '70s hot wheels.

Have to say this looks like the looker of their current line up, even if I'm a little unconvinced from a couple of angles.
I don't think the nod to it's past in the nose has done it any harm at all.
While I do like the name it does seem little odd since it's not the only 12 cylinder in the lineup.

With this, the Roma, Purosangue and 296 I think Ferrari has the best looking line up in ages.

Usually I quite quickly form a good idea on the types of colors I want to see on the car, but for this one I am completely blank. I will be doing Atelier on mine, so loads of room to do some interesting stuff except make my own color (TM possible but unsure if I want to wait that long). White, Yellow, Black (but boring) and the triple layer reds look beautiful on the car so far. But my Pista is triple layer red, my 812 is TDF blue, so don't want to go red or blue.

Thinking about something more "out there" like a burgundy or light green, but honestly this car is so color dependant it's a bit unnerving trying to get a bit brave with the color.

Apparently, you’re not allowed to have the shiny black body panels painted body colour – as decreed by the chief design officer, Flavio Manzoni.

He also won’t be told the cabin’s piano-black haptic crap and general surfaces a) look shyte when covered in finger prints and b) are not fit for purpose.

Methinks someone needs to give Flavio a slap.

Lovely and exciting though only affordable for a few. And even those who can afford it may have great difficulty getting one, if they can at all. Here's hoping you are in good standing with your Ferrari dealer. Or, walk down the street and get what Larry Stroll is offering.

Ferrari still like no other.

9,500 RPM, 6.5l V12. Incredible.
This

Those numbers are all any real car person needs to know, the rest of it is simply along for the ride.

I ordered a BMW with Piano Black a choice I regretted after about a week , That being said I like the Ferrari and would learn to put up with the finger prints & scratches if I was able to afford one

I saw a Focus of all things in a really smart almsot aubergine purple.

I reckon that (or very similar) would look stunning on this car

Spotted at the Nurburgring last year. I thought purple suited the 12 Cilindri’s predecessor very well, I guess it adds to the 70s vibe.

With regards to the new car, I concur with the previous posters who love the front & hate the back. Perhaps it will look better in the flesh?

This looks so freakishly.. stupid. Inside and out. And why does anyone need a screen in front of the passenger seat again?

The simple grace of Ferrari design really is long gone.
yes, give me a car without all the screens in the interior please. I can live with screens in the instrument binnacle, but the rest of the interior would be without in a perfect world. But I guess those times will never come back

I agree. And all designed in house (ie, not Pininfarina).

And probably the 12Cilindri Competizione/TDF/GTO will reach 10,000 RPM.

That's really nice, neither a pastiche like the new Countach or ugly and overly futuristic like an SF90.

Well done Ferrari on making it a real model, not a collectors ornament, too.

Conversely, I think it's the worst line up they've ever had.

Good call. I will get a render of Vinacchia done when I go for my Atelier appointment and throw it up in my thread when able.
