Sports car hire in the south west

Hello,

I’m having to spend a week away with the in-laws in August; somewhere near Glastonbury.

To try and numb the pain a bit, I thought I’d treat myself to a day driving something interesting (and ideally convertible) around for a day.

Can anyone recommend somewhere suitable? I’m not talking about hiring a Lamborghini &c.: my budget is more Porsche Boxster.

For example, I like the look of the M3 on here: https://drivesouthwest.co.uk/ but don’t think I could get away with two days driving by myself. Also, I’ve no idea if they’re any good!

Turo has nothing of interest (that I can see), and Classic Parade looks very dodgy for various reasons.

I’d probably be able to drive somewhere an hour away.

Nope: I’ve had no suggestions/recommendations (yet).

If it carries on thus, I’ll give Drive South West a call to see if we can reach a deal on a one day hire.
