I would imagine that your main tyre replacement issue is that no one carries stock?
Can you locate a potential supplier where you expect to be on, say, Tuesday and ask them to order you one?
You could always send the Lots Of Trouble Usually Serious on ahead with the wheel....
Indeed. There’s a place in Valencia that has some. We arrive there tomorrow hopefully, so should at least be able to pick one up first thing Monday morning…Can you locate a potential supplier where you expect to be on, say, Tuesday and ask them to order you one?

We have finally landed at our digs near Valencia. Will not be driving through there again, just glad it was a Sunday!
The Spanish city planners appear to have got a deal on traffic lights, zebra crossings, speed bumps and roundabouts and applied them furiously. What price safety though, eh
Not sure if images are loading, but if they are…
and if not, picture miles of smooth winding roads

Thread title is becoming quite ironic. I have two trips to France planned for this year and now I can't think about anything else! I'm trying to get some work done, here!
Not just the thread, mind. The garage got back to me the other day to say the car is all done and running beautifully - AAAARRRGGHHH!
Six more bloody weeks to go.....

Well, it turns out that the Valencia based place with the tyres is actually 40 miles south of Valencia, but not a major issue as we can swing by on our way to Almería tomorrow
On a happy note, met some friends this evening who have just returned to Valencia from England yesterday, yarns and drinks

Not when the tyre is toast and in a French tyre place’s dumpster
You mentioned the Hotel de France earlier, and I thought you might like to see this model which was made by a departed dear friend. We went to the hotel together to present it to the Pasteau family who had owned the hotel from the beginning of the last century until about 2013. I won't go into the reasons, but the diorama is no longer there unfortunately.John Curtis, who made the model to commemorate the one time that Aston Martin won Le Mans in 1959, seen here with the Pasteau family,
I inherited a couple of his diaromas from the family
