With Jimmy going it'll certainly be a welcome sight if we can get Stokes back to bowling full time
He was a bit wayward but running in well and charging around the field in the spell I watched yesterday, him batting on a ground the size of Blackpool could be interesting, due in next

T20 World Cup warmup is scheduled to start for us tomorrow with a short T20I series against Pakistan. Jofra Archer back in the squad, so hopefully we don't break him again.

Weather forecast is not looking good for any play at Headingley tomorrow, though.

Some of us have tickets and will have to make a decision as to whether to leave home or rely on a refund.

If it doesn’t take place, it will place yet more pressure on the finances of YCCC which are not too clever right now according to the chairman

It's not far away from the edge of an Amber rain warning. Forecast is heavy rain all day. Think the decision for a refund is a given unfortunately.

Won’t be any play today looking at the forecast.

It was totally predictable certainty from 11am this morning - if not last night (unless the forecast got it wrong and Headingley can have its own micro climate at times) so why it took so long beggars belief.

I feel for all those who had made travel arrangements and May have incurred expense. Luckily I am close enough not to be able to drive there in about an hour.

Would be great to see him back. Enjoy your day fingers crossed for the weather. Edgbaston is a good ground to watch the game particularly if you are on the upper level next to the bar wink On a separate point I listened to Jos last night being interviewed on Sky. He was adamant that he will remain as keeper which surprised me I must say as I am a strong advocate of the skipper at mid off in the bowlers ear which in T20 where every ball counts is important in my opinion. Still let’s hope we get some cricket.

I saw that also. Dhoni manages to captain fine in the IPL with the gloves, not this year of course, but he always has. As he said he's got the likes of Ali who are experienced and can give the bowler tips.

Oh and for anyone with Amazon Prime Season 3 of The Test was released yesterday. Covers last year's Ashes.

Yep we fell away in the last 5. They bowled well though at the back end.
