You could be forgiven for thinking this is a bit tacky at first glance.. but if you watch the accompanying YouTube vid it's actually quite an interesting, likeable property that would probably cost a silly amount of money to replicate today. Huge amount of value (5000sq/ft) for 1.25m

Well it's different, and much of it very nice. A lot of the built in cabinetry is a bit old hat, and the layout is quirky, but it's a lot of house for the money that looks to be in a nice setting, albeit with very close neighbours.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGOlGaPdUKQ

Not quite as smart on visitor photos.
I think I could find a better £1.2m home, however each to their own.

That’s fabulously quirky. Love the exposed structural wood, and the living room, dining area and kitchen are great. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGOlGaPdUKQ

This house itself is nice… shame it is in Northampton

There are a load of places like that popping up on the riverside near me. Personally I think they’re hideous. McMansions that have zero architectural merit and have zero appeal.

Love a Victorian period property nicely updated. But I refuse to buy a house from someone who sets their hifi up like that (kidding jimi). https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/143225183
