Rehoming a dog - seemingly impossible
Discussion
I work as a foster home with a breed specific dog rescue. We are all overwhelmed with the sheer amount of dogs asking to be brought in, whether through vets bills, change of work hours, relationship breakdown etc. it’s an absolute nightmare. Often the bigger breeds are harder to find a space for but try Breeds In Need who work with them. There are also several Facebook groups that work in rehoming requests. Be careful who you trust, hopefully they’ve been neutered to lessen obvious risks.

If this turns out to have a good ending this is going to be the best thread I think I’ve ever read on PH.

Small update.
I'm having a video/phone call with the OP on Thursday. As long as we like each other and there are no skeletons (Bonios?) in the cupboard, then Teddy is moving from the Midlands to Exmoor in early May.
Wow - that would be brilliant news. Can't imagine a better place for a dog like Teddy. What a great thread. I'm having a video/phone call with the OP on Thursday. As long as we like each other and there are no skeletons (Bonios?) in the cupboard, then Teddy is moving from the Midlands to Exmoor in early May.
