Yes, yes it is.
Did a race earlier today. Thought I was past the worst of my concussion.
I was so very wrong. Earned the finishers bling today through sheer bloody-mindedness.
(Not literally. I’ve had an MRI.)
Glad it’s a bank holiday tomorrow! Even though I’ll be busy at least I won’t be needing to concentrate on work.

I can read dogs' expressions.
Both of those are, "Can I have a cheesy biscuit, please, dad?"
It's a gift I have.

Tis th day of Mon & Ah've a meetin
Morneve chaps.
Roasty-piggy-leggy this evening. I'm not the greatest fan but the Memsahib loves it.
Happily, there was a big tray of mixed roasted veggies with spinnage, fresh applesauce and gravy. All rather nommm...
And a spot of Spanish screwtop. Perhaps a little more than a spot, now I think about it.
Goodnight fellas, I'm for an early night. Duty calls tomorrow at 05:00 BST.
By the way, I woke up this morning wondering what happened to Arthur Negus. It's a bit odd, the stuff that enters a fellows head when he gets old.
Edit: Pink Latex Lady is evidently having a day off but someone else would like to give me an unbeatable deal to buy a Toyota.
I hope she comes back soon. PLL, I mean.

Well the currant bun has just gone to bed.
Today I managed to get the spuds & carrots, also some salmon fillets for demani, delivered pie to EB, walkies with FrankieDoggie accomplished, back lawn mode and did a bit of weeding, and then I had a nice sit in the warm sun with a Nerdinger Nonbeer.
Dinner was leftover pie with salad & coleslaw and Moroccan style hummous, followed by a raspberry yoghurt.
Tomorrow Daughter #2 wants me to go with her to look at a Nissan Juke which she has taken a fancy to, as a replacement for the Ibiza, which has been declared an insurance write-off following being T-boned by a big Vauxhall van that rammed it from a side street, pulling straight out without looking. The van was just 2 days old.
I know nothing about the Juke, except it was named after John Wayne.
This particular one is a 1.5 dCi N-Connecta of 2017 vintage*.
* "It's a lovely blue one, Dad!" ( Dark Rioja )
Meanwhile, I'm watching René & Co's misadventures in wartime Nouvillon.
And Herr Flick in his basque and fishnet stockings!

There was a scene in Allo Allo that cracked me up. Fairfax and Carstairs are in a field disguised as a cow and due to budgetary constraints it's a pantomime cow. All the young lady characters are cycling past when there is an explosion and when the smoke clears they're still cycling but now just in their underwear. Fairfax is the rear end of the cow and can't see.
"What's happening, Carstairs?"
"There are gals cycling by in their scanties."
"Yes, I know, but what's really happening?"
I thought I was going to die laughing.
And I've no idea why it's funny.
It just cracks me up.

Morning,
Very misty here this morning, feels like a lazy morning but then looked and it's only 8am. Got up at 6:30 with grand daughter and watching Frozen...
Dogs have already been walked by Mrs B and son, now Mrs B is preparing a cooked breakfast - yum.
We'll see what today brings - walk on the beach later maybe. I'll have to be careful as things are sore, thought I was doing all right and over did it going to the castle. I was ok going up stairs...
Yes I know - no need to nag - I'm getting enough of that...

Gud moaning one an dawl, and a Happy Burfday to my darling daughter, who is 24 today!
To celebrate, I'm going to give the Golf a wash this afternoon, and power-wash the path to the communal bin store.
Livin' on the edge!
Porridge with blueberries and dried cranberries for breakfast, and then as soon as I've finished my coffee, cleaned my teeth and waxed my walking boots, I'll be off into the wild blue yonder for some steppage, and no mistake! (RIP, Pequod).
I don't know how I manage to do it, I really don't. There's barely any room left for procrastination, which is, of course, the primary activity of the retired gentleman. I'll try to fit some in tomorrow.
Whatever you're capering today, enjoy it!
