I actually applauded the tv when you took Ederson off - I thought it was a very responsible thing to do
That’s what City do, they clean up the game, or wash the game or sport something along those lines, ye know the saying…A good title to win, not a vintage year by their lofty standards and they can only be hot favourites for it again next year. Good times in Manchester.
Ah, I’m not getting dragged into the other issues - I just thought that ensuring the player’s potential health and welfare over and above anything else (including the player’s obvious upset and anger) was a good thing and should be recognised.
Many teams would have left him on because he said he felt OK.

had a decent shiner at full time. that's probably season done for him. Many teams would have left him on because he said he felt OK.
An immense win tonight, it was definitely squeaky bum time towards the end.
I was a bit disappointed at Eddie throwing a tantrum when he was pulled off, it was for his own good, shades of Bert Trautmann's broken neck in the closing minutes 1956 Cup final.
You don't mess about with a knock to the head.
Whilst it wasn't a vintage performance, we held our nerve, Haaland was as cool as cucumber slotting the penalty away, there was a lot of pressure there.
If, and I say if we do win it, commiserations to Arsenal and their fans on PH, it must be heart breaking to miss out for the second year in a row,
It's not over yet though.

I was shocked he wasn’t taken off immediately Many teams would have left him on because he said he felt OK.
Well, yes - me too.
I think that there should be a compulsory off-pitch HIA protocol in place, with a mandatory 5 minute assessment - it would a) protect players who really have taken a whack and b) almost certainly wipe out, at a stroke, all those instances where a player goes down as if they have been shot by a sniper but is up and running around again as if nothing had happened a few seconds later once they have managed to get the opposing player booked.

The BBC plus Sky seem to think you’ve played 38 games and won the title - did I miss the West Ham game?
I know you guys won’t 100% believe it’s in the bag - especially after Villa went two up last season. The Hammers are a tricky lot and a bit of Bowen magic can happen at anytime.
2012 was another close call of course - I’m sure you’ll do it and well done if you do but to read the BBC site you’d think it was Sunday night already … so poor - and disrespectful.
