What a Christmas, 3-0 against the Foxes, a great game against the Arse 2-3, a famous draw against City and tonight’s incredible comeback against the Saints to win 1-2.....so proud of the team right now. Every player giving everything....a special time to be a Palace fan after the awful start we had to the season.
Just lost to Man Ure 2-3.....devastating!
The lads gave everything and I’m so proud if them. We won’t go down with performances like that. We have Chelsea then the super important Huddersfield game, I just hope Wilf’s back for that one. Oh, then it’s Liverpool!
Not going to be an easy run in even though are last few games should be do-able....on paper!

Fair enough of Puggit to highlight our misfortune, he's Watford after all and they are enjoying a good spell and have suffered massively at Palace's hands a couple of times in recent years.
I know Brighton fans will also be enjoying our current plight, that's what rivalry is all about, isn't it?
But with a bit of luck and a following wind we might just scrape through and survive this season (by taking a few points off both Brighton and Watford during the run-in ) and if we can hang on to Roy Hodgson for another season we can hopefully resurrect our rivalries again next season...

Great first half yesterday. Wilf loves playing Brighton, doesn't he?
I'm beginning to come round to the idea of wanting them to stay up to maintain a proper rivalry. Having been a bit miserable at the prospect of finishing below them, we now have a realistic prospect of the correct order of things being re-established, we've taken four points off them this season, so hopefully six next season, the rivalry is apparently settling down a bit to be more 'sensible' with less silliness and violence, also Glenn Murray still obviously bleeds red and blue after not celebrating his goal and missing two gilt-edged chances (or was it guilt-edged?).
Obviously we need to ensure survival but I'm fairly confident now, so what's not to like?

I felt physically sick for the last 20 minutes of the Weed game. Did feel good for the rest of the weekend after we managed to hold on for the win. The rivalry has disappeared from the 80’s/90’s IMO although the atmosphere was incredible and a noise the glory teams up the top of the league can only dream about these days.
