In National news... Chelmsford (who were crap) lost 3-2 to Braintree in ET after scoring two very late goals for 2-2.
Continues CCFC's terrible Play-Off record, which is the worst in English football (all leagues!).
Decent enough result for WH - pleased we didn't collapse after that stupid OG & Antonio's goal was a beauty.
With others having games in hand we look on for 10th - our historic average PL position.

Not so terrible considering our depleted squad. I still think Moyes has been good for us.Trophy aside business as usual
This suggests he's ahead of the vast majority of our other managers:

The older Hammers on here will recognise this as a picture of Andy Malcolm, a very capable and respected midfielder for the Hammers in the 1960’s. My brother popped round the other day and told me this story.
Apparently, Malcolm was a friend of our eldest (and now deceased) brother, and one day was sitting in our living room. I was six or seven at the time. I appeared with a piece of paper and a pen and asked for an autograph, and he duly obliged. Five minutes later, I came back with another piece of paper and got a second autograph. He asked why I wanted two, and I said it was in case I lost the first one. But after a third and a fourth autograph the truth came out, and I admitted I was intending to take them to school and sell them to my mates. Laughter all round, apparently.
In 1961 Andy Malcolm moved on to play for Chelsea, so I suppose this tale is relevant today. Let’s grab Chelsea’s 8th place this afternoon!
On the subject of autographs, my mum used to work as a buyer for Peter Milletts, who in those days sold clothing, sportswear as well as ex-army and camping stuff. I wanted the classic away kit, pale blue with two claret hoops so she called Bobby Moore’s shop and after saying she was the company buyer for Milletts she got put through to Mr. Moore himself! After placing the order for the kit she said I’d got three A4 sized pictures of Bobby, Geoff Hurst, Martin Peters, I think you got them from TyPhoo Tea? Anyway, Bobby told her to send them to the shop and he’d get them signed, which he did. I had them on my wall for a few years but don’t know where they are now. I thought that was a really nice personal touch.
Same team as vs. L'pool for todays game.
WH not won @ chelsea since 2019... likely DM's last chance.
Chelsea now above us in the league so that's Euro 24/25 chance done for us.
Be surprised if we get anything today as our disappointing season concludes (although thought the same last week).
COYI!!!

Might get some points against Luton but not if they're still scrapping for survival. WH not won @ chelsea since 2019... likely DM's last chance.

And still the media persist with this narative that the supporters are ungrateful for what Moyes has done. Chris Sutton on BBC website (who's even worse than Lawro IMO) banging on about how Moyes doesn't get credit for all he's achieved. You never get this media orchestrated campagin against the fans with other managers that are struggling so what is is about the Moyes love-in? How many games have we won since Christmas is it, four?
