The 308GTS cost me a Dalmatian.
The F12 cost me a Kubota tractor.
The Cali/Vantage is already agreed to cost me a Baritone sax (She likes Yani’s for any sax players out there).
I fear a drunken “Yes” email to the dealer for an F167 might just cost me a whole fking orchestra in wife bribe!

The easy solution is to buy the 167 for your wife. You can thank me later. The F12 cost me a Kubota tractor.

Slightly off piste but I bought a 2021 812 Gts recently … went out in a light shower today and both headlamps had condensation in them .. about a third of the light and seemed to clear after a few hours … has anyone else experienced this / should I kick up a fuss as the car is still under full warrantee etc .. thanks

looking forward to the new release, possible evolution of the F12, 812 design language?re headlight. my heated garage queen F12 does that even in the summer!! lots of discussion on Fchat but no real resolution. My previous Aston DB9 was awful in regards to headlight condensation. there are aftermarket headlight ventilation systems that can over come this issue.

Thanks that interesting .. dealer told me they are led s and have breathers .. but I had an Audi rs6 c7 and that had a light steamed up and eventually failed .. that was a problem as they are sealed units .. cost me 2800 for a new one .. so why is a Ferrari different ..
Not a particularly helpful answer but some condensation is normal. They're sealed but have vents to allow moisture out. I'd venture that if it clears in a few hours you're OK, any longer and it's worth looking into.there is a difference between light condensation that evaporates away and condensation that is severe enough to cause falling water droplets that eventually damage the unit. Astons are notorious for the later and thats why aftermarket vents units are available... Ferraris tend to fall in the former.
apologies as i am aware that this a 812 replacement thread ...

10k rev limit!! WOW
Ferrari V12s have always been really robust feats of engineering, be interesting to understand the tech that has been developed to allowed a road car to achieve these rev limits hopefully without being a stressed engine and reliable.
I also have a Porsche GT3 with a 9k rev limit, and the tech that goes into achieving this figure is phenomenal.
