Hey its Alpine Steel Blue (code 082) 26/110 and yeah the calipers are nightmare to clean
Alpine Steel Blue is amazing. It on many photos it looks like standard Alpine Blue, but it just adds that bit of grey that gives it a nicer (and certainly more unique) look IMO. There is one at my local Alpine dealer that is sitting there for almost a year, and it makes me want that colour every time I see it.AlexNJ89 said:
... But when you add a cabin to that crossing it gets a bit pricey.
Is that a ferry trip from somewhere in the UK to northern Spain? How much do the ferry tickets approximately cost for that kind of a ferry crossing? I just travelled from Finland to Northern Germany on a ferry. That was a 30 hour trip per direction and the cost for the round-trip was little over 700 euros for one person + car + cheapest possible cabin + meals.
I am due to go from Plymouth to Santander in July. The other route is Portsmouth Santander. Ferries also run to Bilbao from these UK ports, the big difference for me is it is only one night from Plymouth compared to 2 from Portsmouth. For two people and my A110 it cost £1300, albeit with upgraded cabins, for the return trip.

Santander early June - North of Spain to Galicia, Pyrenees and then home via the tunnel... excited. Any good road Bilbao / France way would be interesting to hear...
We tackle the Pyrenees tomorrow, but have found some good driving in this part of Spain. And the car gets a lot of attention -much more than in the UK. We talked to a gentleman in Guernica who had owned an A610; he took photos (and helped us negotiate the on-street parking machine!) an discussed the car. They are much more expensive in Spain, apparently. Portti said:

It is yes, Look up routes to Santander and Bilbao. It's basically the same crossing:I just travelled from Finland to Northern Germany on a ferry. That was a 30 hour trip per direction and the cost for the round-trip was little over 700 euros for one person + car + cheapest possible cabin + meals.

It's insanely confusing that they have two routes going to basically the same place but at different times. Wish they would do an Easy Jet where they have an option for "All London Airports".
At Brands yesterday for the Masters Historic, there are specific areas for car clubs: Porsche, Lotus, Alfa, Caterham, TVR, Marcos plus others but I was in the "individual entry" area with a really random selection, the other side of me were a couple of MGBs, in front a restomod 911, a Citroen SM and a Caterham CSR260!
