Rahal - "it's not pulling"

Well the on screen graphic isn't showing 100% throttle at any point on the lap.

Lots of Chevy failures, making Honda look reliable.
Not failures.

Momentary loss of power due to plenum fires killing the oxygen in the inlet, the engine is not damaged.

Veekay first into the wall in qualifying today.

That swapped ends really quickly at 230mph! There’s no small accidents at this place.

Anyone else watching the Indy qualifying? I absolutely love it, got a bottle of wine on the go, although suspiciously close to being finished. Hope Katherine Legge can squeak through, thought I'd put the schedule here in case anyone needs it.

I’m watching, following on from watching all of practice/qualifying yesterday.

Penske are so fast - I’m just hoping McLaughlin gets pole.

Rooting for Larson - he’s doing so well

Hope Rahal and Legge qualify. Surprising to see Ericsson down there, although given his big Friday crash perhaps not.

There can't be many sports in the world where you can get a 43 year old woman competing against a 19 year old man in the same competition can there?

He can't count to 4 and thought he had finished on lap 3.

The timing system missed his first lap too. Comms didn't notice. Very odd.

Rahal is bottleing it. He's a proper whiner.

He'd already be in if he lost some pounds.

Rahal just about scraped through last year as well.

Right, who's your money on? I'm going for Will Power.

Extended qualifying highlights package up already, for those of us who couldn’t stay awake last night.

My bad, but I've honestly never heard of her, only to find out she's British. She's had a pretty good career considering. We really do a st job of reporting on women who are competing in motorsport in the UK?

That's no mean achievement to qually for the 500..again. And at 43. Bloody well done.
