Did Keith Flint race ??
He was definitely involved or owned some bike teams in and around the BSB paddock. Wouldn't be surprised if he raced at some point.
Team Traction Control in British Supersport then BSB itself, they also did the TT and won 4 races with Ian Hutchison

Apparently he also club raced along with Lee Thompson of Madness

A certain P. Escobar of Medillin, Columbia was known to partake in local events in his 935.
And no doubt... always won.
He was a keen biker too.

Takes the term “a brave overtaking move” to a whole other level!

Gene Hackman competed in Formula Ford in USA in the 70's with Paul Newman and later drove a Toyota for Dan Gurney's team, and raced in the 1983 Daytona 24hrs.

Didn't Tom Cruise dabble in some SCCA racing in the USA after he finished Days of Thunder?

From Wiki "In the late 1970s, Hackman competed in Sports Car Club of America races, driving an open-wheeled Formula Ford.[45][46] In 1983, he drove a Dan Gurney Team Toyota in the 24 Hours of Daytona Endurance Race.[47] He also won the Long Beach Grand Prix Celebrity Race."

I believe it could have been his son raced over here way back. I remember seeing him watching from the old Grandsatnd above the toilets at the hairpin at Mallory (who remembers them)

I was listening to Hall & Oates and remembered John Oates featured on Jay Leno's Garage and mentioned he had short racing racing career: go-karting, Formula Ford. Did a few races in IMSA in the mid-80s.

One I forgot about was Matt Aitken, one of the awful threesome that was Stock Aitken and Waterman, he did a few seasons of very well funded FF1600 I think, remember seeing him at Cadwell in a very smart car, a Swift maybe?

And enters works-supported Porsches in several series, including Le Mans, to this day.
