Companies w misleading names
Discussion
Are there any companies near you whose names imply that they do something different to what they actually do do?
Near me we have...
Rhino Removals ("hello, there's a rhino in my living room")
Compass Cleaning ("hello, my compass is dirty")
Sky Cleaning ("hello, the sky's looking a bit dirty")
Hockney Surfacing ("hellow, my Hockney painting is underwater")
And along the coast, Beaver tool hire ( you can make up your own joke!)

No one there called Rex & they had a price list.
One of those off the self companies I think.
Mrs. used to work there. They made rail
Conversions for diggers.
'Off the self companies'? Do you mean the firm only exists in the fevered imagination of a popular, London-dwelling, sesquipedalian lad-lit novelist, sometime newspaper columnist and miserabilist psychogeographer? No one there called Rex & they had a price list.

Somewhat near me is a shop called 'Waterstones'. They sell neither water nor stones, which is disappointing.

There's one fairly near me called "Corkscrew Hire", which I've always thought is a pretty niche market to be in. There's another one similar, but annoyingly I can't remember the name.
"Hello, I've got a bottle of wine but can't get it open"(I'm assuming they don't actually hire out corkscrews?)
