Are there any companies near you whose names imply that they do something different to what they actually do do?
Near me we have...
Rhino Removals ("hello, there's a rhino in my living room")
Compass Cleaning ("hello, my compass is dirty")
Sky Cleaning ("hello, the sky's looking a bit dirty")
Hockney Surfacing ("hellow, my Hockney painting is underwater")
And along the coast, Beaver tool hire ( you can make up your own joke!)

Conversions for diggers.

There's one fairly near me called "Corkscrew Hire", which I've always thought is a pretty niche market to be in. There's another one similar, but annoyingly I can't remember the name.

'Off the self companies'? Do you mean the firm only exists in the fevered imagination of a popular, London-dwelling, sesquipedalian lad-lit novelist, sometime newspaper columnist and miserabilist psychogeographer?

Somewhat near me is a shop called 'Waterstones'. They sell neither water nor stones, which is disappointing.

"Hello, I've got a bottle of wine but can't get it open"
(I'm assuming they don't actually hire out corkscrews?)

Lol there's a shop near me called 'the smoking gun'. I went in and ask if they sold tobacco and she said no but actually looked embarrassed so I asked if they sold guns. They sell vapes.

"Duty Free Shopping" at Heathrow. No way those prices are anywhere near duty free. I can buy Jack Daniels cheaper at the local Co-Op.

Pen Island

Similar to Mole Station Nursery who later added Native to their name to become Mole Station Native Nursery - allegedly.
