Sorry, not sure which topic is best for this, but has anyone else had an issue with their car not having a CAP code assigned to it?

I bought a used car in 2022 and basically, there hasn't been a CAP code assigned to the car. Whenever I go into a dealership to see about trading in, no one can find it as it doesn't have this code. I know they can do a manual valuation but it's really not convenient as they could select the incorrect spec and under/over value the car (my car was released during a year when they did some upgrades to the model so there are various options).

I've spoken to the manufacturer who have emailed CAP HPI with the code that needs to be assigned and they still haven't assigned it (it's been well over a month since they asked them to do so).

I've since emailed the CAP HPI complaints email as well as filling in the online form so that I can just move forward, and haven't had so much as an acknowledgment.

Has anyone else had this issue, and if so did it ever get resolved?
