Is my 2011 c1 engine sound normal?

Hi,
I have just bought a 2011 c1 with 137k miles and was wondering if the engine tick over sound was normal? I have never had a 3 cylinder car so It may just be paranoia, however I want to see what you guys think?

Sounds about the same as my daughter’s 107. Maybe a bit more tappety but I think that is just the microphone/recording.

As above, don't worry about it. Sounds fine. Give it an oil change with some premium oil, might sound a little smoother.

Thank you guys! That's given me a bit of peace of mind, was already working myself up thinking I'd need to change the timing chain, camshaft and lifters...

Will start with changing the oil and see how we go 👍

Pretty robust little engines these, they take a lot of stick. At 137k miles it could be expected to be a little noisy and tappety but an oil change, with decent oil and it should be good for many more miles.
