Bloody hell just seen this post what a lot of old names on here I'll have too get a car sorted and join you guys on the next round
Nice one Stumpy, will be good to have you racing - it’s been a while Stick your name down for this one aswell if you’re about, it’s a fun car to drivehttps://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
I’ve been thinking about this a fair bit.
I’m thinking second Sunday of the month we run a non championship race over the same 15 laps.
No points on offer or similar, just a run to see how competitive your car is against the people who have gained and lost PI from the last scoring round.
Then followed by production car races. No tuning allowed, just straight as they come. 5 laps of random circuits and weather until people get bored
How does that sound?
Championship races could start at 7 or even 7.30 instead of 8 and then we can move into production races as suggested above?

I’m happy with anything mate. Sounds good. I’m thinking second Sunday of the month we run a non championship race over the same 15 laps.

That sounds good to me! I love a production lobby, I’m much more competitive in those I’m thinking second Sunday of the month we run a non championship race over the same 15 laps.

Apologies for abusing this thread but if anyone is interested.....
I've tuned and shared a C500 version of the Civic I've been using in the series and it's a weapons grade lobby car.
Managed to hot lap it within top 2% on Spa which is very good for me.
Cheers

Gave it a go and beat your time after a few laps Andy - You’re giving up a chunk of time avoiding the curbs…I've tuned and shared a C500 version of the Civic I've been using in the series and it's a weapons grade lobby car.

Couldn’t work out how you were pulling time up the hill but see you’re running with clutch too. Tried it and probably faster - def better balanced down changing under braking - but a bit of a faff on the wheel.

If you fancy doing a tune for the earlier Civic that is top of the leaderboard I’ll have a crack at seeing how close I can get
I've done 2 tunes for it, both very similar but one has more front tyre width (I prefer that one).I basically watched the replay of the top leaderboard time and built it to the same BHP and speed on the Kemmel straight. I don't normally do slutty cars but after a few laps I get why it dominates the leaderboard!!
After about 5 laps in test mode (to avoid putting the time on the board) I managed a 2:45.970 which is over 0.800 faster than the 04 Civic!!
I'll share both tunes before lunchtime today.

Hi chaps.
Sorry for the late reply. Ended up being taken into hospital for my surgery early. Out now and at home recovering.
Happy to run race nights whenever. Maybe we can chat about it a bit more on Sunday when we have Andy’s race .
Apologies again, catch up on Sunday.
