The "Show off your bike" thread! (Vol 2)

You'll love it. Spesh are not value for money, but I'm guessing you picked it up in the sale they have on at the moment.
They do, however, know how to make very very capable bikes.
I had a rare trip out on my eeb last night, which is essentially a motorised version of yours... I'd forgotten how well they smother a trail.

Yep, was in the sale, there was an S Works version in the same size, but it was another 2k on my already heavily inflated budget and I'm not good enough to notice the difference in componentry between the two. They do, however, know how to make very very capable bikes.

Next on the list is some coaching to build up my confidence a bit.

As do I, simple clean and stealthy, looks awesome!
Thanks. That's exactly what I was after, nice and simple. I was between sizes, ordered the size below and was a bit worried it was a bit small when it arrived. It's definitely smaller than my Cannondale but after riding it I think it might be the case that my other bike might be slightly too big. I suppose that's what happens when bikes are simply sized S, M, L etc.
It'll be for summer/weekends, with the leccy bike mostly for commuting. I'll be out on Sunday for the first proper ride, probably getting in the way of the Fred Whitton.

It's generally easier to up-size a bike (longer stem, longer/setback seat post), so I think you've gone the right way. And another "like" for a straight forward plain simple traditional bike - I was just thinking the same thing looking at Klootzak's new Fairlight on the ride photos thread.I was between sizes, ordered the size below and was a bit worried it was a bit small when it arrived.
