They all taste the same to me tbh, it's the quality of the clotted cream, scones and cream tea after that makes the difference (if not having a heart attack)

Been past the Longrock unit many many times and never been in - it's a bit unprepossessing biggrin

Don't forget to apply for a bank loan before you buy one.

Cheers for all the suggestions thumbup

Clicking the links provided tells me that the Hayle bakery mentioned in my OP was Philps, so we'll certainly be checking out Barnecutts and the one mentioned in Looe.

Berrymans Redruth are £4.95 for a large steak.

And they are 'a large steak'.

Was she the one who appeared in the first series of Rick Stein's Food Heroes?

I remember when Warren's opened up everywhere and a large steak pasty was my lunch once a week, 20 years later, they just don't seem the same.

I couldnt tell you which bakery it was from but I had a very nice Chicken pasty in St Ives last September.
Sat on a stripy deckchair on the harbour side in the sun to consume it.
Think the deckchair was £1 for the hour.
That’s not a pasty, that’s a funny shape chicken pie,
