Hi doofus….

I should have added context. I was surprised Freddie felt comfortable posting content with his former friend. I also think it’s interesting how the automotive YouTubers are segmented because of it. You have those that post with Freddie and those who post with Jarred’s friends. That’s why collaborations with Freddie stopped with many well know YouTubers. (Not all)

Oh, and if we want to reach peak… the woman was engaged to the guy from aging wheels.

Tavarish has posted a video on his second channel about his pimp my ride mini van. I think it’s interesting when Freddie posts videos with Jarred in.

On YouTube, they parted ways amicably. In reality Jarred said he could no longer work with Freddie due to not being aligned with his morality off camera. This was because Jarred disagreed with one person Freddie dated post divorce as she was engaged to another man. It’s also why there is a divide between YouTubers.
If this woman was engaged to another man why did she willingly hook up with Freddie? Takes two to tango and all that.

Either way, the personal lives of YouTube creators has absolutely nothing to do with me (or anyone else). So, as per a previous response, who cares?

The point wasn’t about why they fell out which you and the Doof jumped on. It was that they did fall out. In business, once a partnership has dissolved it’s unlikely one partner would continue making money from the other partners work. I’m very sure Freddie owns the material but he didn’t need to post a 4 year old video.

Perhaps part of me wanted Freddie and Jarred to be friends again. They were clearly very close.

Also, my other post makes it clear that content through collaborations stopped because of the breakdown.

I didn't "jump on" the point about why they fell out.

I jumped on the fact that a) you seem to know so much about the personal lives of all those concerned, and b) you thought we should know how well informed you are

I don't think that's the case at all if you own the IP for that work.

I haven't been following Tavarish for long enough to know or care who this Jarred is, but I see from his channel that he's been uploading start-to-finish compilations of several of his past builds. If that's what he wants to do it shouldn't matter who appears in them. The original videos with this other person are still on his main channel after all.

Hmm, this might be a case of the written word having its own voice.

The truth is that I originally only mentioned what Jarred said about morality. But, on reading it sounded like Freddie must be a monster so I put in the info about the affair. It wasn’t to be judgmental from me. This info was widely posted on the internet at the time. Jarred even posted a lengthy explanation saying he was great friends with Freddie but he had to draw a line.

Doofus, you very often jump to the stance that because you have not read information the other person must be weird. If it’s all posted by those involved on public forums, it’s no longer protected.

Returning to my point. There are many collaborations that have not happened due to the breakdown of their business relationship. I’m hoping this 90 minute video may indicate reconciliation. That could lead to videos with Cletus and Freddie.

You continue to insist that I jump. I don't jump.

It's not about reading information, and I never suggested the "information" was protected. It's about you telling us that you know all about Freddie and Jarred's personal lives, and the people to whom they are or were married and are or were dating.

All I said was that nobody cares. I admit, I should have qualified that statement by acknowledging that you do actually care, which is why you've gathered it all from stuff 'widely' posted in the internet.

I subscribe to Freddie's channel but I have no idea who Jarred is, and guess what? I DON'T CARE.

And please don't give us the SP on Cletus' love life.

For the record, I also neither know or care who Cletus is.

How does that make your post any more relevant than Hobo's?

I very clearly didn’t say I knew everything. I said former collaborators, who had a public falling out, might be getting back together which could be good news for those that enjoy their content.

You have turned this into what it has become. Frankly, I’ve always found you an unpleasant bully that enjoys being rude. It’s been a very long time since you posted anything of value on pistonheads. This place was better when you rage quit. But, then you failed at rage quitting.

It Sounds like those who did go had fun.
I was there with a friend, went in his car he'd booked a show spot for (I do have several cars that would be perfect for Shedfest, but they're so perfect for Shedfest none of them are anywhere near being in a fit state for the road at present laugh), and I enjoyed it, it felt very sociable, and the range of cars was great, it's really only MX5s that were somewhat overrepresented.

However I was already in and parked up long before the access chaos started, I'd imagine my opinion could be very different had I been sat stewing in a queue for hours after a long drive.

I'd go again, though if I weren't arriving in a show car good and early, I'd be very wary of a repeat of the access issues - but I'm very local, so I have options other than driving if need be.

I accept my remarks have been subjective, but yours have smelled too much of stalking for my taste.

I'm sorry that you've found me to be a bully, but if it helps, I have no recollection of your username or of interacting with you in the past.

That's no reflection on you; rather that I don't take this place seriously. I come here, say stuff about which nobody cares and then fk off. Think of it like Knock Down Ginger on the internet.

So it's no surprise to know that I've not posted anything of value for a long time. But again, that suggests that you stalk monitor my posts and, as I said, I don't remember you at all.

If that's percieved as bullying, then I apologise.

I feel the same way as hobo, in fact I wrote a similar post but deleted it because I couldn't be arsed to read the predictable response. As he says, your self imposed exile was noticed, and enjoyed.

And you have such a, frankly embarrassing, high post count, it's hard to be unfamiliar with your name, and your posting style. For someone who doesn't take it seriously you spend an awful lot of time on here.

That’s a very passive aggressive post. Apologizing while insulting me. I don’t take pistonheads seriously either but it is a place where people can benefit from the experience of others. I know I continue to come here because I see value in what I read and I proactively give back. If you can raise your hand and say you are not contributing to the community you should reconsider being here.

Also, I use this analogy a lot but here it goes again. Pistonheads is like going to your local. If a group of people you didn’t know were having a conversation. You wouldn’t butt in and say “we have reached peak blah blah blah”. Using the pub analogy again, when you have been around for as long as we have you get to know the others in the pub. You may never talk to them but you are civil as they are part of the overall culture/feel of the pub. The way you post would mean you wouldn’t feel welcome in my local pub. Not in a “I’m a 20 stone director (that walked too much in the sun today and got burnt” kind of threatening way. More in that people just wouldn’t talk to you.

I know you have your “fun” on pistonheads but it isn’t fun for others and you, by your own admission, don’t add value.

Anyway, I’m sat outside my local (which is 4000 miles away from my home but it’s very much my local). I’m going to go in and enjoy the conversation of strangers who will be my friends by the end of the night. That’s because I may disagree with them but I will do it in a respectful manner.

Back to the vloggers.

Note the lack of an actual apology.
Seems to be punting it off to Petrol Hedonism. I assume they were the underlying organizers?

No doubt or they’ll then blame Mallory or someone else.
Petrol Hedonism seem to do all the events for people, In their statement they blamed it on an accident near the entrance and Mallory Park.

Without Freddie there would be no Jarred.

Does anyone remember the guy that preceded Jarred for a few months in Freddie's videos?

He never really did anything, didn't seem particularly knowledgeable and never came across very well on camera.

I made a comment as such under one of the videos and he never reappeared after that, I did feel a little guilty after that one. hehe
