Me too, but my daughter didn’t. I was halfway into town when she called to tell me she had managed to get me 2 tickets for the O2. £75 each with all the various fees and part of a new tranche of dates so not till April 2024 (Two Christmases away!) - but I can live with that.
He must have made millions this morning.
Counted 103 tour dates so far He must have made millions this morning.
Got to the front of the queue ... after a shade over 5hrs.
Newcastle all sold out. Pick another date.
Selected a different date/location as instructed, and it whisked me to the back of the queue - im now 277,835th in line.
So if you get to the front, and your selection is gone (which is likely), then you select again and essentially restart the whole process.
If it took 5hrs for 58k ... I'm looking at a 20hr wait now! Insane!

Nah I’ll just stick with the December-23 date for Manchester - that’s where I bought the original tickets from too using the o2 pre-release “glitch”abzmike said:

Got tickets for June 2024. As above seems mad to be booking so far in advance but I’ve been waiting longer to see Elton John due to Covid and his fall…
The numbers for this must be astounding, and will certainly dwarf that massive tour of his from years ago.
But it is the only way to beat the touts/resellers - just provide as many shows as the market will bear.
Thrilled to be seeing him live. A show of his clips was on telly last night and I was again laughing at jokes I’ve heard countless times before.

Well that was a waste of a Saturday.
As a wheelchair user we can’t use the normal booking system, instead having to call a accessibility hotline, so far I’ve tried that over 280 times today with no answer. Closed tomorrow, be lucky to get anything Monday.
The O2, Wembley, Silverstone and Manchester Arena to name a few, get your bloody act together and make it easier for wheelchair users to access tickets. So so frustrating.

We aimed for Newcastle - the website crashed after insisting I was not a robot, clicking on pictures of traffic lights. Ten minutes later I got tickets for Glasgow in May.
At least it was easier than booking a doctor’s appointment in the 08.00 - 08.30 window you normally get.
The next challenge was getting a hotel in Glasgow for
a slightly less than eye watering price.

This should be fixed. Wouldn’t be hard to allow an extra seat option when booking, although I suppose you’d get everybody trying it. Maybe take the booking then a follow up phone call would be needed to confirm and actually issue the tickets. Whatever, the current wheelchair user system sounds completely unacceptable. As a wheelchair user we can’t use the normal booking system, instead having to call a accessibility hotline, so far I’ve tried that over 280 times today with no answer.
