Have you seen the price they fetch on ebay now since they were discontinued the end of last year In anticipation of this I ordered this last personalised presentation gift for Wifey as a Xmas pressie. I chose the wording She's not allowed to eat them though

No illusion GenX. So scoop them up now if you like them because nobody makes them, anymore, anywhere in the World I’ll keep an eye on availability.

"Shelf-life of food
You can find both following important dates on many products, but they are extremely different.
Best-before date
The best-before date (“Mindesthaltbarkeit / MHD” in German) is a date that comes with a recommended storage temperature. It can usually be found on processed food, such as cookies and yogurt. The producer guarantees that the product’s quality and microbiological state will be maintained until at least the date mentioned if the indicated storage temperature is ensured. Therefore, the storage temperature must be maintained. After the best-before date, the producer does not guarantee the product’s edibility anymore, so the consumer gets the responsibility to decide if they still want to consume the product or not.
Expiry date
The expiry date (“Verbrauchsdatum” in German) is a date that also comes with a recommended storage temperature. It can be found on highly perishable food, such as meat. It is a deadline after which the microbiological state will very likely evolve so fast that it becomes dangerous to health. Food whose expiry date has passed should be neither passed on nor consumed."
The clue is the last couple of letters the whole phrase your photo is not showing

I could be wrong but it's great fun
Does anyone remember Sunquick? I lived in Iran when I was young and it was the diluting orange juice my mum used to buy for us. It was like a thick syrup concentrate, and I remember my mum making up jugs of it and keeping it in the fridge. It was available in Asda in the UK around 25 years ago but I haven’t seen it since.

Baby weighing scales in pharmacies.
People would track their kids weight gain on them.
There was a beautiful big one in a shop in Leicester when I worked there in the mid 70s. All polished brass and hardwood with an engraved brass plaque: "Boots weighing machine".
I was asked to leave because I was a juvenile tt (then as now) and took off my safety boots and put them on the scale.
It had to be done.People would track their kids weight gain on them.
