Not a penalty. Waiting for the plastics to tell us VAR doesn't favour them. Video here:

Similar thing happened in the same fixture with the same ref last season, Skipp needed 12 stitches.

But yeah, VAR doesn't have a special Liverpool mode hehe
You guys moan as much and Liverpool, thinking everything is going against you. No problem when big clangers are dropped & mistakes go your way. The legit Liverpool goal given offside… you guys loved it. And now here we are… comedy gold.

Not using it as an excuse, we were very poor as we have been for weeks now and Liverpool weren't so this doesn't change the result. I'm just getting really annoyed at the inconsistency of the refereeing in the PL now, it's just awful. Today it's not a pen but the exact same position somewhere else will be given.

Samesies. I don’t care which team it’s for or against, I’m just sick to death of the referees in our league. The inconsistency in big decisions has worn very thin and VAR hasn’t helped get rid of the mistakes. Every weekend I’m just wondering what the feckin rules are today.

We heard you the first time.

Highway, mate, sunshine, doll, bubbula.

I've had a look at your posting history and the only football thread that you post on is this one.

Furthermore, every post on here from you is negative, antagonistic or gloating. You often end with something along the lines of 'I'm not a fan of (insert whoever we're playing)'. However, you never mention who you do actually support.

What's that about?

I'm guessing trauma.

(I originally wrote 'fked by a cockerel'. But, that's downright crude).

Tbf anywhere else on the field this is a free kick but the Liverpool player I think has no idea that Johnson is there ,

All in all a pretty spineless performance from Spurs yesterday ,

Interestingly Jared Gillet is going to be wearing a camera when he referees tonights Man Utd vs Palace game.

The footage is for a programme about how (badly) the Premier League is officiated.

Skipp was lucky to still be on the pitch to need stitches after doing this.

And believe me, we feel your pain around VAR inconsistencies.

Not a penalty either apparently..

Lol… I just find this thread fascinating… somewhere in the last couple weeks I clearly said who I support. A few here had a little banter with it. It’s no big secret.

fked by a cockerel… you still had to say it though eh… c’mon that’s not nice and it’s silly. It’s not even possible.
Trauma!!!??? Seriously… we’re talking about football. Not the trenches at the front line.

Again watched that and thought how was that not....

It's got bad this year, and theres certainly seems to be a bias towards three teams, City, Livarpool and Man Utd, not only var but referee decisions as well. As others have said, the inconsistencies are appalling.

Citys first penalty was as soft as they get, yet kick a player in the head with a dangerous high foot is fine?

Can't wait to see and hear the discussion on how the Utd goal was disallowed.

and yet there isnt

https://www.statista.com/statistics/1458004/var-de...

of course these could all be correct calls by VAR, in which case the numbers mean nothing

What constitutes a positive decision? No way VAR aren't looking at these high feet - so a pen or card not given should register as positive surely?

I always consider myself lucky if I need 12 stitches on my head

All the refs are from the North, mostly the norh west. None from London or SE, couple midlands to west, maybe 1 south coast.

Go figure why VAR is bent

To add it will all come out one day...along with leics 'enhanced fitness regime', but probably in the same timescale as city's 100 plus charges.

So about 50 to 60 years from now when all concerned have shuffled off this mortal coil.

This one is better, total slightly different so may be more / less up to date

https://www.espn.co.uk/football/story/_/id/3819646...

Seems it is just when VAR overturns the onfield decision, interestingly it lists them all so providing for hours of further argument smile
