Come on Chris, we can dream. wink

Great to see Baj back on the pitch and Harvey get the MOTM award. He's worked his arse off all season and continues to improve game after game.

They were a lot more dangerous with Son/Richarlison/Maddison up front.

It’s a fine line between being a dreamer and being delusional wink

Made a change to see the players looking relaxed (well, apart from Darwin) and they played better as a result. Helped by a Spurs team who looked like they were ready for their summer hols (until they made their substitutions and we took our foot off the gas anyway). Maybe there's no pressure now they've convinced themselves 3rd is where it's at...

Elliott's goal was a thing of beauty.

Darwin looks like he needs someone to get inside his head and sort it out. Given how quick he is, it's ironic he so often makes his runs early and gets caught offside.

Fun fact: no team has ever done the double over Klopp in a season, the only manager to achieve this in a managers tenure in the PL era.

Was probably aiming for the repost button.

He shoots, he scores. (Ironic ha!).

Lad probably getting a lot of criticism on social media, I'd imagine a lot of it quite vile. Criticism/analysis is fair; but no need for it to be personal.

Yeah I think criticism about his game is fair especially when as wasteful as he is. But abuse in any form is wrong.

Staggering that certain double digit IQ "fans" seem to be making him the scapegoat for how the season has ended, like we haven't seen in coming for months.

I'd have to check back, but I'm pretty sure his goal and assist numbers in all comps are right in line with what we all agreed would be a good season for him and a significant improvement on what he managed in 22/23? He's also hit the woodwork 9 times this season in the PL alone FFS, such small margins.

Fingers crossed he's just having a break from online as still believe that when it clicks for him, and he's close, he'll be world class.

Fans can be so vile online it's a wonder any player comes out and praises "the fans" frankly. Any grunt with a smartphone can be a keyboard warrior. Pathetic.

He's apparently removed LFC content, not his whole account.

His performance hasn't gone unnoticed. He's had several dishonourable mentions on MOTD this season. He's also had some favourable coverage.

Unfortunately, he is statistically one of the worst finishers in the league. There are numerous references to his performances on this thread.

It is not the only reason why our season fizzled out, but it's one of them.

Fans can be idiots but I'm not sure he's of the standard we require.

All that 'agent of chaos' stuff is bks. It's just to distract from his shortcomings.

His lack of composure is an issue but no more so than Sobz drop in form or Salah being really poor (not yesterday) or Jota being injured or Diaz’s poor decision making.

Spurs whinging about the high boot in the Gomez clearance, seen them given although he didn’t see the attacker coming in (memories of VVD vs Lamela). Mind you watching the Gakpo incident back where the defender clearly treads on his foot I’ve seen them given too. Call that a draw shall we smile

No doubt he's had some dogs abuse, as I'm sure all footballers get. I bet even Messi gets his fair share.

For the money we paid Nunez has been a flop. Not in the same league as the likes if Anthony or Sancho but still a definite flop.

Doesn't justify the abuse though obviously.

1 nil against Palace not looking so bad now. I bet they get picked apart in the summer.

Adam.
