Imagine winning the FA cup by a miracle result and then getting the push. Wonder the odds?

The club should at least give them their ticket money back.
They’d never take any ticket money if they set that precedent biggrin

I admire the loyality of the travelling fans.

I'm walking distance from Old Trafford and I wouldn't bother going, never mind an away game.

Perhaps the social element makes it worth it.
not so bad. quick trip on the tube home wink
Casemiro should at least give them their ticket money back.
EFA …

He'd have to stump up more than 1 weeks wage now the tube costs £6.70!

Didn’t Mancini get the same down the road too?
And perhaps that Dutch (?) manager at Chelsea?

Pictures of Jonny Evans looking glum. What kind of club are we having him on the pitch at all. Sums it up.

Hopefully the club structure and strategy is on the mend, but there's nothing in the way the team plays that says ETH has the support of the players or knows what the hell he's doing. Get rid.

A result like that has been coming for a while. With tonight’s performance the next 2 games are going to be cricket scores.

What can you do but shrug your shoulders at the performance tonight, there's nothing left to play for except the FA cup in the mind of these guys, no pride playing for UTD, it's a good job it's last season for most of them.

No matter how good of a coach I don't think many managers could get better results at the moment.

I do hope the new owners help ETH clear and buy sensibly over the summer, early so there is time to prepare rather than the daft last minute over inflated prices they have done for the last 10yrs. See where we are at Christmas and decide from there.

Who's a genuine replacement if he does go in summer?

Poor bloke thought he was coming in as a pension topper as 5th choice centre back. Played far more games than he thought and Had to come straight back in from injury and be paired up with someone slower than him.

Well Tuchel seems most linked at the moment, ironically with ETH replacing him at Bayern. Funny thing is Tuchel would play 3 at the back, which is not exactly playing to our strengths right now.

Who knows though. Just please not Southgate. Anyone but him or Moyes.

Maybe they will stick with ETH though, its not impossible either - but whatever they do they need to really overhaul the squad, either way.

Betfair tweet suggesting that United have faced 618 shots this season, only 11 less than the record, Derby faced in their terrible 2007/08 season when they finished bottom by a mile. eek

I think we might beat that then. Probably in the first half of the next game at this rate.

I'd like to see the stats this season.

It seems every game there are new ones.

Speaking of one... The BBC with the brutal hastags.

Records are there to be broken. I suppose it's fitting that the Glazers last season in charge and it's the worst it's ever been since Fergie left.

Thank fk INEOS have come onboard.

Against those Palace lads, too; super fast the lot of them. He will be having nightmares about that game.

The player ratings for Utd on the BBC made for interesting reading.

Bruno & Rashford did not feature tonight, so that's a pretty dumb picture from the BBC.

Apparently Evans failed a fitness test this morning, but was asked to play anyway due to the problems. Brave of him, but wtf are we doing? Play a youngster..

Not really. I’d warrant Fernandez has played in every loss bar tonight - and Rashford nearly all. It’s not just about tonight - which was spectacularly bad.

The manager has to go, surely, even with the Cup final to come. Put the OT cat in charge …
