EQUIPMENT – Instruments with double scales, LSD, headlight cleaning system, Becker Grand Prix Pro + Mp3 connection, AWD, rear wiper, electrically adjustable comfort leather seats, 6 speed manual gearbox, turbo wide-body, anti-theft system, Sigma alarm, 75 ltr fuel tank, driver/passenger air-bags, A/C, electric sunroof, beam leveling, power steering, on-board computer, full leather interior, top tint windscreen, aluminium display dials, cruise control, electric door mirrors, heated rear screen, over-mats, 18”inch Turbo alloys, high-level brake light, chrome exhaust tips.
EXTERIOR – Violet-Blue Metallic, factory code L37E.
Simply, one of the most memorable impressions any 911 could ever make.
Against a natural back-drop, the colour seems to lift and sit in perfect contract.
The total exterior is in a remarkable condition, showing virtually no sign of the past 21 years having any detrimental effects. We could only really locate one very small stone- chip which has since been addressed. All glass and lenses remain clear, rubber seals, subtle and effective.
INTERIOR – Full black leather seating, dash-top and centre console. Door cards, headlining, and carpets are in fine order. The high-back sports seats are supportive, displaying an acceptable and satisfying amount of patination only.
All instrumentation is clearly visible, operating as intended, as are all electrical components. The air-conditioning efficiently cools the cabin. The Becker Grand Prix is a desirable edition, providing a high quality level of audio pleasure.
WHEELS & TYRES – 18”inchTurbo Alloys, with matching centre-caps. Only extremely minor imperfections on very close inspection. Likewise the red brake calipers, displaying the Porsche logo highlighted in white.
285/30ZR 18’s Rear with 225/40ZR 18’s front. All with matching Pirelli P- Zero Rosso N-rated tyres.
Tread depths are generous, with even wear patterns across all four tyres. No deterioration to side walls, cuts or abrasions have been noted.
SERVICE HISTORY & PROVENANCE – Original C16, genuine U.K. supplied vehicle. A very comforting 2”inch thick, leather-bound, ring-binder, chronologically organised, accompanies the original service history records, and owner’s handbooks.
Continuous and dedicated attention has been focused on the maintenance regime of this wonderful 993. All MOT certificates are present, both blue and red top V5 registration documents. Very few miles covered since oil/filter service and brake fluid change. Cared for in the past by some of the best known and highly regarded Porsche Specialists in the country including, JZM, Autofarm, Strasse, Jasmine Porsche, and Stratstones. Just some of the works recorded include, front top mounts replaced, all brake discs and pads 1k miles ago, 4 wheel alignment, ignition leads and plugs, front anti-roll bar bushes @ 44,337 miles, gearbox major overhaul and new clutch @ 31k miles.
Obviously, consumables such as belts, fluids, plugs leads etc.. have all been replaced as required. As with many vehicles now regarded as classics, the majority of mileage was covered during the very early years. More recently, admired as much as driven, and adored by the last lady owner.

DRIVE & ENGINE – The glorious Turbo wide body houses the notorious M64/21 flat six, 12v coupled to the 6 speed manual G6420 gearbox.
Start-up is effortless and without issue, settles swiftly to a pulsating, steady idle. No smoke, no oil leaks rattles, hunting or surging. Once on the move, every journey seems like a very special occasion, with taut slick gear changes, a positive clutch feel. Unlike the Carrera 2S, benefiting from the same brakes and suspension as the Turbo, so speed is dissipated with ease, via the 4 piston calipers front and rear and 322mm ventilated / cross-drilled discs all round. Permanent all wheel drive with LSD, instill a confidence and sure-footedness, while surface imperfections are absorbed effectively. With 285 bhp to explore, 0-60 mph times of approx 5.2 sec, and a top speed in the region of 168mph, this low volume Porsche 993 must surely be worthy of serious consideration by both collector and enthusiast alike.
