1990 Black Porsche 944
Porsche 944 3.0 S2 Cabrio Like new condition, only 20.634 miles
Pristine is word to often abused when describing a car. This Porsche 944 S2 convertible however is the exception to the rule and is truly as good as new. This 1990 944 has only clocked up 20,650 miles. It is a proper nineties “transaxle Porsche”. The 90’s picture is completed by the pop-up headlights and fixed Alpine telephone. The 944 has lovely, totally undamaged black paintwork. The chrome wheels are in pristine condition, completely free of oxidation blemishes and in the original chrome and black colour scheme they left the factory with. The black leather interior trim is also as good as new, as one would expect in this low-mileage car. The completely undamaged leather trim shows no signs of use at all. The carpets are also in pristine condition. Every detail points towards the fact that this car has always been garaged. The bodywork is also in top condition with beautiful and perfectly aligned body panels. The hood is also in great condition with an overall flush fit. Although the car appears to be fresh off the shelf it of course is not so. The 3.0 litre 1V 4-cylinder engine delivers 211 Hp and runs nice and smoothly with lots of torque at lower revs. The manual 5-speed gearbox shifts precisely and is a great fit to the powerful engine. And did you know that this was the largest four cylinder engine around at the time of the 944 S2? Another nice benefit of Porsche’s from this era is that they have most of the modern comfort accessories. The 944’s first owner did not skip any boxes on the order form. Nothing is absent including electrically adjustable seats, cruise control, electric windows, electric hood, electrically adjustable wing mirrors and airconditioning. The original car wallet containing all books, audio manual and maintenance invoices is present. A unique 944 S2 convertible in absolutely pristine condition. There is not a second one like it about!
