CATERHAM 7 - Cheapest 170bhp car on here!
This isn't a thrashed and crashed ex race car. Its super cheap to run and has all the desirable bits already!
I've owned Caterhams for 28 years and this is one of the best as well as my first that I built back in 1992.. Just fresh from a full bare metal respray in Porsche Acid Green at Caterhams factory outsource painter TSK.
Too many extras to list in full, but this is a modified 1700 Super Sprint that had a GSXR 1000 transplant in 2004 ago.
Much updated and improved by current owner including a £2k rear axle upgrade, all new front suspension, AIM MXL Pista dash with GPS, Gyros and full data logging retrievable through AIM Race Studio 3.
This is a very friendly bike engined Caterham. Its very refined, not too noisy (will get on any track) and comfortable enough to go touring in (I've driven it on a 12 day road trip to Monaco and back and it was no more fatiguing than driving the K Series car I used to have).
Porsche Acid Green paint - resprayed March 2021 It looks new!
Lots of Carbon including interior panels
6 speed Sequential box
Ital axle with every moving part uprated and with disc brakes
Staggered 6" & 8" CXR wheels on Ford centres with ZZR tyres

AIM MXL Pista dash with GPS and Gyros - full data logging enabled
Raceco silencer - quiet enough for UK tracks

Its faster than an R400 and gives an R500 a run for its money!
