VAUXHALL VX220 TURBO 2006

I am the Second Owner and have had this car for 9 Years. It was bought to be used as a toy and it has only ever been a toy and never used as a Daily in my ownership.
It is registered as a Cat D with damage to the front and rear clam. Structurally the car was/ is perfect. The car was also completely standard.
I bought the car to keep and its only today that I have made the decision to sell as there are other Hobbies that I wish to spend more tim epersuing and to be honest I have scratched the Sports car itch.
Over the years I have used Liam at MMG Performance in Ashbourne exclusively for all work regarding the upgrades and including basic servicing. The only other person to work on the car is Chris Redman when he was at Jon Seals and is now Type 116 Motorpsort. I have changed the Brake Pads and Discs myself and thats it. Otherwise it has only ever been touched by a VX220 specialist. No Home mechanics, no amateurs and everything done to the best. Literally no expense has been spared. When ever Liam suggested something might be worth doing I have always said Yes.
Literally every job and age related issue has been done on this car, not limited to;
Chasis Shims have been changed to Spitfire Units, this is a huge job that requires splitting the car in two. All of these cars will probbaly need doing about now due to age. My Shims were actually in good order as the car has had little wet use.
The Brake Pipes that run through the sills are all new too as these corode over time also and again alot of people just run a flexible hose through the sill where as Liam replaced with proper Brake pipe bending it and manipulating as he went. He said it was a nightmare of a job and thenext time he does it he is going to have to charge double what he charged me.
All the obvious jobs are done like the Hub Carrier Bolts, Spitfire Toe links which are the best to have....etc
The Car is running at a Stage 4 level of tune so Power is around 290BHP as an estimate and Torque probably 300lb/ft. I have never put the car on a dyno to verify this but its quicker than stage 2 cars and was a noticeable improvement upon my stage 2 when it was around 250BHP. I've always wanted the power for overtaking and have never "launched" the car as thats not something Im interested in. The brief was always to keep the driveability and the car is more Boosty than Standard but not too badly effected.
The Suspension is Gaz Mono-Tube which is their best system and is fully adjustable for track use. Its very compliant on theroad and I run it around 4 clicks from Soft on average. Springs are 350 front 450 rears.
The ARB is a 3/4 inch from Elise Parts. The 1" that i upgraded too was too stiff in my opinion and I got some mild understeer so I changed it to the 3/4 which is perfect.
The streering rack was changed about 2 years ago as these can break quite regularly and this is my 3rd rack in my ownership.
The Suspension wishbones were Zinc Plated and Powder coated Silver in colour by Jon Seal Sports Cars and the Hub bearings all changed along with New Lotus Bushes to maintain the compliance of the car.
The Engine modifications are Milltek 2.5" exhaust which is fairly quiet and certainly means that Track Day noise testing is no issue. Its got a nice sound under full throttle. The Turbo was changed to the Hybrid VXR turbo which can handle more boost than the standard one. The pipe work is all upgraded the Inlet elbow is enlarged. Engine recirculation pipe has been delted and now breaths to a catch tank. The gearbox breaths to a catch tank too.
The car had a full Service earlier this year and had a new Cambelt, water pump fitted. so thats not needing doing for another 3 years.
The radiator is a Triple pass Alloy Radtec radiator.
Brakes are 2 piece Ally Belled Elise parts Rotors and Pagid RS14 pads on the front and CL RC8 on the rear
Body work is fine there is very little osmosis, somthing most of these cars suffer from to a greater or lesser degree but all of my monety has gone into the mechanics of this car rather than making it pretty.
Im an enthusist member of the Vx community and Im on .org and my car is known by a couple of other owners.
Im not going to write any more about the spec because this advert is getting very wordy already and you'll either be interested enough to contact me or not at this stage.
I have receipts for all work and Liam will be able to give an honest opinion of this car should you want one.
One word about th emielage. The Speedo broke about 5 years ago and I had to buy a second Hand one which was reading around 7,00 miles higher at thetime. You'll see this jump in the MOT at the time, so the real mileage is about 59k
