Description
The X350 Jaguar XJ was revealed to the public in 2002 and went on sale in April 2003. The new car included many advanced features, notably the all-aluminium unitary construction bodyshell, a six-speed automatic transmission and an air suspension system with double wishbones front and rear. Styling and proportions were clearly inspired by its forebears. Despite this, the X350 offered considerably more interior room and boot space than any previous XJ saloon, mainly achieved by building the car taller, while the aluminium construction helped to keep weight down.
This particular XJ is a 2005 4.2 V8 Sovereign Long Wheel Base. Purchased new by a large PLC the car remained with them for thirteen years and covered around ten thousand miles. It has had just two owners since and has now covered just over eleven and a half thousand miles. The car is finished in Midnight Black with Ivory leather interior, featuring black piping, and Burr Walnut trim. As a long-wheelbase variant the car also features rear-seat multimedia system with dual television screens, and controls for the system within the rear armrest.
Prepared by Jaguar Land Rover Classic, the car will be supplied to its new owner with 12 months warranty and 12 months breakdown cover.
