2003 CATERHAM SEVEN (S3)

With heavy heart I am selling my own dream car. Now with 2 little kids, it just doesn't get used enough. I’d like it to go to another enthusiast with time to enjoy it. It is perfect for taller drivers (I'm 6 ft 5 and fit very comfortably).

Serviced meticulously by Caterham Expert Perth Car Care just 50 miles ago prior to being garaged. See their invoice in photos. Their comments:

The car started life as an academy car, owned by a race team who looked after the car with great attention to detail. Even the gearbox was fully overhauled after just a few thousand miles of racing.

I purchased the car in 2022 from a (tall) aircraft engineer, who upgraded it considerably to a similar spec to a 360R in terms of capability. He fully rebuilt and installed a VVC engine with 175bhp (see rolling road printout) with Apollo swirl system and upgraded the brakes, making it into a track weapon in mint condition.

This power level is widely considered as the sweet spot in the range for a seven on the road, where you can use all the power safely. It’s very quick, but not snappy or scary.

I prepared the car for touring through the Alps on my honeymoon, where it didn't miss a beat for on a 4,000+ mile trip. I added:

- Tall Track day roll hoop (cage available)

- Cloth seats (much comfier than Tillets for long distances)

- Half hood

- Cafe Racer LED headlights (much brighter than standard)

- Black stripes

- USB charge point

- Pedal spacing adjusted to make usable with normal shoes

- Refurbished minilite wheels in gun metal grey

- Rain Expert tyres with good tread (ideal for touring)
