Finished in the striking and highly desirable Azzuro Thetys, this 2014 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster represents the definitive naturally aspirated V12 supercar of its era. Supplied new to the UK and 32, 000 miles, it combines the theatre and occasion that made the Aventador an instant icon with a level of recent mechanical investment rarely seen on the market today.

Introduced as the successor to the Murciélago, the Aventador rewrote Lamborghini's rulebook. Built around a carbon-fibre monocoque and powered by a magnificent 6. 5-litre naturally aspirated V12 producing 700 bhp, it remains one of the last truly analogue-feeling twelve-cylinder supercars. The Roadster adds another dimension entirely, allowing occupants to experience one of the greatest engines ever fitted to a production car with nothing but open sky overhead.

This example presents beautifully in Azzuro Thetys, a colour that perfectly highlights the Aventador's dramatic angular surfaces. The Silver Dione wheels have recently been professionally stripped, blasted and refinished to the correct factory appearance, then wrapped in new correct Lamborghini rated Pirelli tyres. Gloss black brake calipers with subtle silver Lamborghini script complement the wheels. The result is a sophisticated specification that suits the car's aggressive design without sacrificing originality or character.

Inside, the cabin is trimmed charcoal Alcantara. A carefully integrated wireless Apple CarPlay conversion, complete with touchscreen functionality, has been installed using the factory screen, complete with touchscreen functionality, preserving the original appearance and operation of the interior whilst discreetly introducing modern connectivity.

The car also benefits from a Larini exhaust system with sports catalysts and remote valve control, enhancing the character of Lamborghini's naturally aspirated V12 without compromising drivability. Roof-off, the combination of induction noise, mechanical drama and V12 soundtrack creates an experience that few modern performance cars can hope to replicate.

What truly sets this Aventador apart, however, is the extensive programme of recommissioning and preventative maintenance undertaken during current ownership by our very own Merlin who bought the car in early 2025. More than £30, 000 plus VAT has been invested to ensure the car performs exactly as intended, with works including replacement of the air-conditioning compressor, power steering pump, gearbox pump, drive belt and pulleys, battery, aero control module, vacuum pump, supercapacitor, fuel EVAP system, brake servo, brake master cylinder, exhaust temperature sensors, lambda sensor and numerous switchgear components. The brake calipers have been professionally rebuilt and refinished, a genuine Lamborghini rear spoiler mechanism has been fitted, plus the aforementioned new Lamborghini-rated Pirelli tyres.

Further recent expenditure includes a new genuine Lamborghini windscreen, replacement OEM wheel centres, fresh front-end paint protection film, a new MOT and an annual service completed by Lamborghini Pangbourne in December 2025. The result is an Aventador that has been maintained with a level of diligence and attention to detail that reflects true enthusiast ownership. Testament to the recent expenditure, maintenance and condition of the car, Merlin has covered over 5, 000 trouble-free miles since buying it.

Accompanying the car is its original book pack, toolkit, gloves and factory presentation items. While the original service book was misplaced earlier in the car's life, a replacement Lamborghini service book is present together with supporting invoices, dealer records and servicing documentation. Aside from two independent services, maintenance has been carried out within the Lamborghini dealer network, including the most recent main dealer service.
