Base cost of bike was about £10,500 so the total investment comes to not much short of £14,000!
The bike represents a considerable upgrade on any factory sportster, and considerably betters their own 1200T model as well as their C model.
The power is up from 67 to just short of 75BHP and torque is a whopping 78ft-lbs
Handling is vastly improved with ground clearance increased for greater lean angle and this model had the desirable forward controls as standard (no longer offered on the 2018 1200C due to cost cutting). The Kuryakin mini running boards hinge up and provide a very comfortable foot position which feels very natrual on the go and is a far more comfortable set up than the mid controls.
Weather protection is offered in the form of the quick release touring screen which can be removed in seconds for a bare bike look. The Sundowner saddle is the top of the range lushly padded saddle from H-D and all day comfortable for pillion and rider.
Panniers suit the bike and offer useful storage. They are the highest quality heavy grain leather reinforced at the sides for a rigid feel and mount using 4 nuts which can be removed from the mounting frame from the inside to leave you with the bare bike for that raw look or for cleaning.
Rear sissy bar offers a luggage mounting option as well as providing a secure backrest for pillions and the rack is a top quality heavily chromed affair. Both can be removed in seconds via quick release mechanism.
Summary: Possibly one of, if not the very best 1200C in the country which has had £1000's spent to convert it to a punchy convertible bagger. Jekyll and Hyde character. Mile muncher which has genuine performance thanks due to the massive torque available from just above tick-over....effortless overtakes and where conditions permit, genuine 126mph ability. This out-performs and out-handles any of the standard big twin cam models as it weighs much less yet has similar power and torque figures!
Only selling as wanting to fund another project, but have grown really fond of this excellent bike. It's had its 1000 mile service and is mechanically perfect as you'd expect. Keyless ignition, alarm, immobiliser and Datatagged.
Serious enquiries only...strictly no tyre-kickers or silly low offers. Priced to sell so grab a bargain. Instead of buying new and then having all the hassle of paying a huge amount more for the "Harley Tax" to de-restrict and get your new machine running properly, buy this one where it's all been professionally done for you! Bike is barely run in.

Owned this for a while a few years back then sold it to a mate and bought a Bonnie.
