It's heavily laboured comedy, like most Ferrell/American films but it had some moments.

A lot of his movies since, whilst being quite funny at points, have not been anywhere near as engrossing as The Anchorman was.

I'm a big Ferrell fan, and really hope that this can live up to the expectations. But that bar was set extremely high after the original. And nothing since has really come close.

I will say though I think WF appreciates that Ron is the best character he has ever created and is held in high esteem by a large number of fans.

Hopefull he will do "The Legend" justice.
