Absolutely stupid thing to do really. Too many yobs think they are untouchable, this just serves to show that they will eventually end up picking on the wrong person and get their comeuppance.

Little st got his just desserts. By the age of 15 he should know right from wrong.

Guess what the little st won't be doing again in future though..? Yep, that's right - he won't be throwing things at cars any more.

Job jobbed, imo.

Perhaps not quite. Four parents shouldn't be invited into a police station and given some strong words of advice about what their kids were doing out at 22.30 and why they were throwing objects at cars?

It can't be that difficult to set up a system that automtically ratchets down benefits to those that fail supervise their own kids? I'm not sure we should be giving hand outs to people to help raise their kids if they can't or won't keep them in check.

Oh FFS people. Bet you were all perfect little angels as kids.

Yeah, throw mud at cars = fractured skull.

Why do I even read posts in here. I'm inches away from deleting my profile due to the sheer number of s who post complete bks.

Not so much "throw mud at cars = fractured skull" necessarily, as "throw mud at cars, don't be surprised if a big angry bloke gets out and gives you a beating."
It may not be Right, but it is likely....

On the whole, though, I think they've accidentally swapped the words "offender" and "victim" around in that news report.

This sums it up for me.

The interweb says said:
The 15-year-old boy had been playing with his friend, aged 11, on St John Street at around 10.30pm on Friday, August 10.

They had been throwing mud at passing cars.
Since when was throwing mud at cars playing?!

No i was not perfect and i doubt many were.

However i never threw mud etc at peoples cars or damaged/risked damaging other peoples property.

The problem with some people today is that they try to justify bad behaviour or blame other people.

The one throwing mud today may be dropping bricks off a motorway bridge tomorrow.

The police wouldn't have done anything about it.

Think we all have done similar things in our teenage years & got away with it.
I agree that the driver should have protected his car & perhaps he has no idea of the damage he has caused to the teenager. He certainly wouldn't have deliberately fractured his skull.

On the subject of people "hanging" around with younger kids, we have this 30yr old male who lives close to us who hangs around with children aged between 7 & 13! His best mate is 11 & I just want to give him a slap & tell him to get a job & act like an adult. He participates in all their games & I am horrified in the way he acts. The parents all know his age & it doesn't seem to bother them. I am not suggesting that he is doing anything he shouldn't with these kids apart from hanging around with them.

Quite right they are obviously misunderstood. They should be sent on all expenses paid holiday to Disney.

All the car drivers fault for being on the wrong road he should have known better.

Yep. If you decide to enter someone else's life through your actions, beware there may be consequences.
